Neighbours exists in a world where covid never happened, and hand sanitzer just appeared on every table in the cafe for no obvious reason 😂

They nearly mentioned Covid one time. The other Sheila Canning was explaining why she didn’t get to say goodbye to her grandmother / grandfather / other random relative.

”By the time I went to go it was too late…. the borders were closed”
”Oh because of the…..”

It was a bit like Basil Fawlty but it is ok - they got away with it!

Anthrax on the post feels retro. Imagine having a an anthrax scare and then being forced to spend it with Wendy in martyr mode.

I was kind of hoping Wendy would lick it and identify it and be all “trust me! I bake everyday!”

Crazy that play school Haz is the local heart throb.

This made me laugh. You’d choose death for sure

I mean, her wife wasn’t allowed in and Wendy decides to just barge in? Very annoying character.

Swish swish swish goes Wendy’s hair making sure that the anthrax is nice and mixed up in the air.

What did you all make of all the different dialogues to tell the story of jj’s conception? Susan talking to Remi makes sense , Jane talking to wendy too. But terese talking to cars over the bins?

I'm struggling to like the new Nell. I feel mean because she's just a kid, but she really over acts. She's either whispering, or using a shaky emotional voice. It's difficult to watch.

In yesterday's episode when they showed the photos on Jane's wall, I thought it was really odd that she has a framed photo of David, Aaron and Isla, and then a separate photo of just Nicolette. Wouldn't it be more likely that she has a photo of her own daughter with the child?

I think I know the answer to that but it’s not for this thread 😉

The dog is definitely called Trevor, sometimes shortened to Trev (which might sound like Tramp??!!)

I'm sure you are right. I've found it quite hard to remember some of the newer cast tbh

I'm sticking with it (obviously!) but every other scene seems to be someone eavesdropping or sneaking about - it's getting a bit tiresome.

I’m finding Paul annoying. His snooping is not devious enough and he’s getting the wrong end of the stick/meddling. It feels more like he’s a a busy body than the sneaky bastard we know and love.

leo’s right, he needs a hobby. But then so does Leo. It made me laugh when he literally leapt out of nowhere into shot just to make some comments to Paul.
