Oh my, it’s shaping up to be good.

Much better than Dead City.

I’m assuming there are boats traversing the Atlantic, possibly connected to the CRM , they are either trying to find a cure or further weaponise the dead,
which ties in with Rick being with the CRM.
Don’t forget the France link is hugely important, going all the way back to series one and the CDC.
I reckon Daryl got a lead on Rick, joined the boat or was captured sneaking on, then caused havoc onboard, which was when they went full on Fletcher Cristian with him.

Daryl series one was interesting and atmospheric, loved the nun actress and the French setting and can’t wait for him to meet Carol and for the Madrid season! Just finished Rick and Michonne series and was disappointed although loved seeing them back together. It was a crap script. Think I will give Dead City a miss and just stick with Daryl, season 2 out soon!

I gave up on WD after 2 or 3 series, then just watched the Rick spinoff, then Darryl eps 1-6, then the City one first few eps. I loved Darryl. Rick and Michonne (sp) was pretty cool but the French setting was great. The city one is good so far. I would like to know more of the lore of the land but I don't want to find spoilers. I found Laurent annoying at first but later enjoyed some of his lines (hard to say without spoiling!) Good to know more Darryl will follow ep 6!
