Sanditon Series 3 - ITVx

I see that series 3 of Sanditon is now available on ITVx https://www.itv.com/watch/sanditon/2a6094/2a6094a0015

I've watch the first 2 episode but find the ad breaks so long that it breaks the "spell" of going along with the nonsense. ie each episode is billed as 1hour but actually takes 1:15

Wondered what anyone else thought.

Am thinking I will wait for it to be broadcast on ITV1 so that I can record and then fast forward through the ads.

I really enjoyed Lady Denham and her old flame.

And it enhanced the 2 themes - women, marriage and independence - redevelopment being both positive and destructive.

I thought the Colborne brother and King's mistress a bit of a waste of thime.

@StarbucksSmarterSister , thank you for the link. I had not seen all of that nice little walk before, just a still. Accompanying music and bird are also good.

@IwantToRetire , I also enjoyed Lady D and Rowleigh. The shorts didn't give all of their story and many people were sad that all of the other couples took up time at Heybourne's expense, but I didn't feel resentful of them and enjoyed their exchanges.

I have discovered 'Youtube Mr. Colbourne on the move'. I was looking at Youtube S3E1 Snippets + DELETED SCENE' and the 'on the move' one was one of the further options which offered itself.

It's the marriage of Figaro I think.

Deleted scene has now been deleted, sadly.

Have you seen the Colbourne "Staying Alive" video on Twitter? It's brilliant.

I found that Tw/X had deleted the scene, but could find it as part of Youtube Snippets and DELETED SCENE so now I've seen the scene there.

Just watched her saying, "This is Mr. Starling. We are to be married." Ooh, the expressions on each face. What a delight for a Sunday evening.

Rose is brilliant in that scene. She looks SO uncomfortable.

Is anyone else disappointed by Mr Colbourne casting? There was so much chemistry with Sidney, I have found Mr Colbourne utterly unsexy.

No disappointment here. Didn't much like Sidney. Loved Colbourne, however, and thought his chemistry with Charlotte was off the charts!

Not at all. Personally I thought Sidney was rude and dismissive (not just to Charlotte) and I spent most of the first series thinking "this can't be the hero". (I liked Stringer though.) I loved Colbourne's dry wit and quiet humour and think BLH made an extremely attractive hero.

But we can't all like the same.

This is not strictly S3 ITVX but it is Sanditon-related. If I google 'Mr. Colbourne on the move' and watch 2 minutes of deliciousness, does YouTube get money because I clicked on it? Does Krissy E, who made it, get any money from it? Do Ben's legs get paid any kind of royalty from it?

I love the music Kris finds for the videos. I assume she doesn't get paid because she also puts stuff on Twitter and we can watch that for nothing. Same for Susan Firth. I think they do it for love of the programme.

Youtube get £ if they have a deal with an advertiser I suppose.

and the answer was, "No." But I think if I google I can still find 'Mr.Colbourne on the move'. It's a real cheer-up in low or bored moments.
