We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently nearing the end of Spooks series 5. Please join us if either Our Girl or Spooks grabs your attention.

Shall I watch the news and QT or watch my recording of Soldier? Has anyone else watched that. I am getting a bit fed up of the bad language. Some of them use the F word every sentence!

CJ never did that - though he was a tad sweary when the Boys arrived back in town in Kenya!

I haven't watched 'Soldier'. One of the write ups said it wasn't much of an advert for the army and was unlikely to attract recruits. I have watched 'Warship - Tour of Duty' - I saw it last year and it's just been repeated on BBC2. I really enjoyed that because it's full of lots of different people doing lots of different jobs and there seemed real camaraderie in the crew.

I fell asleep during QT - I was very tired last night and there was no drama to keep me awake. Fiona Bruce was thankfully spared from refereeing any more 'Spooks' type shenanigans!

QT became very heated on a subject (Israel/Gaza) over which we have no control and I gave up and went to bed.

I saw Warship when it was first aired and really enjoyed it. More recently there has been a series filmed at RAF Lossiemouth which I found fascinating.

Definitely this series of Soldier would not attract new recruits. It does make me wonder if it's really like that or whether it's exaggerated for television.

Just back from a few days holiday and it was a rush to get the DVD ready in time just now.
