I used to love this series though it might be dated now. I attend a slimming group so am going to rewatch this.

Stars Ruth Jones, Alison Steadman, James Corden.

It's starting on 19 August on That's TV (channel 250 on Virgin) at 3am!

I have Apple TV and the various tv apps. No Sky/virgin or Freeview to watch on That’s Tv channel.

Is anyone still watching this? I set it to record after seeing the thread and have been enjoying it. I think I only watched the first series when it was first on.

It seems to skip a couple of episodes and the sound balance in the most recent episode was terrible - the music and sound effects of people walking around were really loud whereas the dialogue was barely audible. Not sure what has gone wrong!

Didn't watch first time round but have been recording and watching via That's TV channel, thanks to your heads up 👌 Love it. So real and with heart and soul. I'm sure it would probably run afoul of how people think now🤐, but I definitely recommend. The last 2 episodes of Season 2 featuring Lisa Riley and Alison Steadman were gut wrenching. They seem to have missed off Ep1 of Season 3 though which is a bit annoying, lol.

Yes, I am still watching @LilyRo and enjoying it immensely! Smile As you pointed out, it has missed a few episodes for some reason ... 4 altogether I think... The first one of season 3 (which I think was a Christmas special,) and the first one of season 4, (which was a 'holiday special' when they were all in Spain.) It has also skipped episodes 2 & 3 of season 4. No idea why. Only 4 to go now. I will be sad to see it go. Wish I could buy it but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

I've just watched that episode. Thought it was so funny and poignant.

So many famous faces in it. But agree sound is very dodgy.

Sadly can't find it at all on Sky so I must have missed the boat. Just hope it will pop up somewhere else or on this channel again.
