Chat away to your heart’s content about invisible quads, terrible children’s clothing designs that are apparently groundbreaking, Stephen’s bizarre whispering and much more!

I have no idea what's going on and I'm past caring, just watch out of habit now, Corrie has lost it's appeal for me lately

AutumnCrow · 02/10/2023 20:41

Are we supposed to know who any of those strange lads from acting school are?

thenightsky · 02/10/2023 20:43

And why are the police coming for Adi?

AutumnCrow · 02/10/2023 20:43

Oh and as if Billy Prayerhands himself wouldn't have had a few renegade trendy gay vicars in his little black book to call upon at a time like this, ffs.

JewelleryCat · 02/10/2023 20:43

thenightsky · 02/10/2023 20:35

I'm lost. Why was Stu looking at the blue car suspiciously? Who were the 3 strange lads who came round the corner, looked at the blue car, and ran away?

One was Liam, Maria’s son but I don’t know who the other two were

thenightsky · 02/10/2023 20:44

I keep rewinding, thinking I've missed a vital bit explaining 3 boys, blue car, police at Dev's house, Policeman wanting a free kebab. But no... its all getting surreal.

JewelleryCat · 02/10/2023 20:45

thenightsky · 02/10/2023 20:43

And why are the police coming for Adi?

It looks like he smashed his dads window in at the kebab shop with his snow globe

AutumnCrow · 02/10/2023 20:46

Apollo is a very good actor.

greengreengrass25 · 02/10/2023 20:47

Was one boy Dylan?

thenightsky · 02/10/2023 20:49

The police come out for a broken window?? What world is Weatherfield in?

greengreengrass25 · 02/10/2023 20:50

The church wedding is just cringe fest

thenightsky · 02/10/2023 20:56

Why is Summer using a weird massive old fashioned polaroid camera when she probably owns a phone with an amazing digital camera app and could take thousands of pics instead of just one?

EachandEveryone · 02/10/2023 21:03

I literally fast forwarded it all

GrandTheftWalrus · 02/10/2023 21:04

Knew they were gonna get caught somehow

clpsmum · 02/10/2023 21:06

Summers dress was awful

clpsmum · 02/10/2023 21:07

AutumnCrow · 02/10/2023 20:12

YMCA sung as a wedding ballad. Okaaaay ...

So weird lol

aflix · 02/10/2023 21:09

Well now we know why Summer had the weird 'polaroid' camera, but why did we get the strange close up of Stu's Stew?

TellingBone · 02/10/2023 21:34

aflix · 02/10/2023 21:09

Oh yerr - and there was a weird shot of Billy Prayerhands in the church where it looked like he was holding the camera himself for a selfie. 🤔

Jitterybugs · 02/10/2023 21:46

So is the Polaroid photo lying on the church floor going to be found by the bishop and Billy is going to be in trouble?

AutumnCrow · 02/10/2023 21:52

Well, if my non-existent canonical knowledge of the CoE is accurate, Billy was already married when he and Paul turned up at the church, so couldn't have then subsequently been married in the church, so it was just a bit of a show ceremony. A blessing, max.

It was an ecumenical matter, so to speak.

But obviously the Bishop will kick Prayerhands up the arse.

greengreengrass25 · 02/10/2023 21:57

Wouldn't there be someone there anyway in the church

Like a congregation member etc

Randomly on a weekday? Probably not.

Fiddlersgreen · 02/10/2023 22:27

Dylan, Liam and a random.
Was it the same random that shouted abuse at Ryan when he was moving into the precinct flat?

Heliotroper · 02/10/2023 22:31

Billy has been living with various boyfriends for years, which is definitely something the church does not approve for its clergy.

MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 02/10/2023 22:38

CofE rules about clergy in same sex relationships is that they are fine as long as they are celibate. Which I'd imagine they (Billy & Paul/the gay Vicar I know and his bf) aren't. But as no one is going to physically check up on that they can lie and claim they are.

Of course you could then get into the whole lying is a sin thing. But (as a CofE non clergy person) I think God loves love. Whether it's between a man and a woman, a man and a man or a woman and a woman. So I think he's OK with it. Incidentally so do all the vicars I know.
