Chat away to your heart’s content about invisible quads, terrible children’s clothing designs that are apparently groundbreaking, Stephen’s bizarre whispering and much more!

Is the new builder character sponsored by Ladbrokes? Literally everything he says is about betting, even telling them the digger isn’t coming.

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 21:47

I assume the laptop money will pay for the funeral but considering she has one brother and her best mate is someone she met last month I doubt it will be a big do.

OnTheBoardwalk · 18/09/2023 21:48

How many people living in Dev's house now! 6?

I’ve never understood why Dev and the twins never moved out, not even to the posh houses on the other side of the street with a conservatory

I get there was the Sunita 'connection' but even just Dev and the twins would have been overcrowded especially as they haven’t got the front room to use as a bedroom

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 21:49

Billy was going on about what Shelley would wanted too, it really is the cringeworthy thing to say about someone who has just died.

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 21:51

The Corrie housing crisis could be relieved if people just wandered round to the precinct flats, somebody seems to be giving the keys to those places away.

Ihaveawonderfulpartner · 19/09/2023 12:55

Why do I keep watching Corrie when it's driving me up the wall? That Shelley one dying and Paul, who's only known her weeks, let's himself into her flat an declares he doesn't know what to do without her and then organising her funeral for pities sake. The crap scene at the pub and all the men stood watching the match on the phone. The odd ominous music when the older builder brother kicked the soil on the dig site. Gemma staging a stag party despite being potless. And who had the never seen babies? And don't even get me started on boring stu and his awful granddaughters situation. Oh and the boring gambling problem. Why do I watch this tripe???

Helendegenerate · 19/09/2023 13:15

@Heliotroper

That flat which conveniently became available for Cassie and Evelyn, yes it can happen as people in social housing can sub let. When I say "can" I don't mean it's permitted but it does happen.

The daft situation of so many of the homes being overcrowded is probably because new sets would have to be built to see all the overspill cast moving into more realistic accommodation.

Maybe Corrie's budget has been reduced as it's no longer the nation's favourite. Or is it? 😐

Lorrymum · 19/09/2023 13:17

I feel the same. It was just cringe worthy yesterday. Paul sniffing Shelley's cardigan and weeping. He only knew her for five minutes.
Ed suddenly becoming a master builder when all he ever did was fit kitchens and general DIY stuff.
Why was the site full of workers in hard hats when nothing has actually started.
Stu and his odious, ungrateful granddaughter. I thought he had saved her from going into care when her mother and grandmother had gone to prison. Why was Dad never mentioned as an option.

Heliotroper · 19/09/2023 14:13

Westminster Abbey is booked and people will be queuing all night to pay their respects to Shelley

Heliotroper · 19/09/2023 14:17

Sabrina seems to now live in the precinct even though when she first first appeared Max had to travel some way to her.

Maybe the quads can stand vigil at the four corners

DahliaMacNamara · 19/09/2023 14:29

At least Shelley's flat will be available for someone to rent by the end of the month. Who will it be? Place your bets now. Not you, Ed.

eggandonion · 19/09/2023 14:30

The very dangerous bad estate hasn't featured recently. Thankfully.

Will it be televised

Getupat8amnow · 19/09/2023 15:04

I feel sad that my once favourite programme has come to this. Yesterday’s episode was absolutely dire. What are the story writers thinking? They are ruining the show. The story lines are poor, the characters are unbelievable and it is actually just boring. Drugs - yawn, gambling- yawn, Stu and his granddaughter- yawn, Paul dying - yawn, Damian - yawn. I could go on but I won’t bother.

Was Shelley's flat one of the ones in the precinct? (Where Lauren now lives (where Evelyn sublet), and Sabrina & her brother (quite like him - where are their parents?) live and so does Eliza's dad by the looks of it!)

So who will have Shelley's? DeeDees new beau? Aadi and his cougar? Ryan needs to felled Carla's nest, that's for sure.

JellyBeanFactory · 19/09/2023 15:26

"flee Carla's nest"

"flee Carla's nest"

I thought it was weird that she was lying with him on the seemingly gigantic bed. I thought they were on a sofa until I saw the huge headboard.

bizzey · 19/09/2023 16:18

Sooo ...what's going to be in the soil ????
When they start to dig it up.....duh duh durrrh ...

Roman coins which will make the brothers millions...

Or skeleton remains that means the land can't be used ...and they loose ALL their money 🤑🤑!

Very obvious that something is afoot ( ha ha ! See what I did there !!)

Early notice I know ...
But 2as going through my recording planner for next week ...and days have changed.
It is on Tuesday next week .

eggandonion · 19/09/2023 16:56

Is it on tonight or Tuesday next week?
I hope it isn't some sort of killer bacteria in the soil leading to mass death . Or an unexploded grenade leading to mass death. Or the entrance to a magical kingdom. Where people vanish and are never seen again.

Helendegenerate · 19/09/2023 17:11

Another one here who did a mental hmmmm seeing Carla lying on Ryan's bed.

Something is a brewing methinks.😘
