Chat away to your heart’s content about invisible quads, terrible children’s clothing designs that are apparently groundbreaking, Stephen’s bizarre whispering and much more!

I used to like Moira

I think Aggie has disappeared and taken Glory with her

bizzey · 17/09/2023 22:28

Moria was underused !

She needed to stay !

Thequeenofwishfulthinking · 17/09/2023 22:34

I decided on Friday whilst watching that Dee Dee and Adam will get together despite simpering lawyer. He gives me the creeps. She makes Adam smile unlike Sarah Lou.
Love Dee Dee, her style and that shes not a skinny minny.
She has a fabulous figure and wardrobe.

Iwantacampervan · 18/09/2023 07:50

Moira has a big storyline in Ambridge (The Archers) at the moment - it's been a while since she's been seen in the Street.
I watched an old episode of Vera last night where Emma Watts (Curly's wife) was the estranged wife of Owen the builder, very confusing.

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 09:56

I would like to see them go with something more imaginative than pairing DeeDee up with Adam. I really like them as friends.

WomanStanleyWoman2 · 18/09/2023 10:05

Me too. A genuine male-female friendship with no “Will they won’t they?” overtones would be refreshing.

I do hope drippy solicitor is the start of a decent plot for DeeDee though. Corrie has that rarest of things - a relatively new character who everyone seems to like - and they waste her by casting her in the role of supportive friend in everyone else’s storylines!

DeeDee looks much slimmer than when she was first introduced. Has anyone else noticed?

aflix · 18/09/2023 11:44

I find DeeDee's clothes quite scary! She never looks comfortable.

I'm a bit of a slob though.

FeltCarrot · 18/09/2023 12:08

Still catching up after being on holiday, it was good to see Roy rearranging where everyone lived to accommodate Evelyn, Lauren & Nina rather than just having them all living comfortably in the cafe flat which is what usually happens. Eileen’s house particularly must be overcrowded, a two bed with a front room housing Eileen, the undertaker, Todd, Sean, Dylan and possibly Mary. Why they didn’t move to the undertakers house is a mystery.

Helendegenerate · 18/09/2023 12:12

@aflix DeeDee is meant to be a lawyer and most lawyers/solicitors wear business suits in black/navy etc. Boring but shows a more professional look.

DeeDee is a bit of a rebel and likes to stand out like a beacon.

As my mother used to say "she won't get run over while crossing the road"

😁😵

aflix · 18/09/2023 12:16

@Helendegenerate My mother would have said, 'What's that she's trussed up in?'

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 13:51

George does not even let his sister stay at his house

He must keep dead bodies there

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 13:55

Daniel is another one who owns house but prefers to slum it in the street.

Billy gave up the lovely vicarage to stay Eileen's, now he rents a flat off Tracy who would rather stay at Ken's.

eggandonion · 18/09/2023 14:01

Was Georges house his dad's house? Maybe there is a complicated inheritance situation. And tax implications for Daniel being gifted a house?
Mary's daughter in law should come back. Wasn't she an accountant? Not the son who wasn't a marine biologist. He can stay away.

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 15:29

They love lawyers and all the juicy crime stories

Less so accountants looking through books

JellyBeanFactory · 18/09/2023 18:22

Slight schedule change this week

Coronation Street - NO SPOILERS! The Rovers doesn’t make enough, Stephen’s worried about Rufus’s stuff and Ryan’s on a dodgy route to buff
Lorrymum · 18/09/2023 19:06

Cant see the changes on my TV schedule. Is it rugby or football?

Heliotroper · 18/09/2023 19:25

Football

AutumnCrow · 18/09/2023 20:10

So we've got the never-ending stressy Bailey family saga, set in an ever-expanding house, and the ever-expanding stressy Alahan household, and then we're jumping to the tardis that is Eileen's gaff.

DerekFaker · 18/09/2023 20:33

Why on earth couldn't Bernie wait and tell Paul later? Let him enjoy his night!

Lorrymum · 18/09/2023 20:41

DerekFaker · 18/09/2023 20:33

Why on earth couldn't Bernie wait and tell Paul later? Let him enjoy his night!

Couldn't believe she told him. Paul only knew her for a few weeks.

Jitterybugs · 18/09/2023 20:41

That’s all a bit weird. Billy and Paul rushing round and letting themselves into her flat and Paul sitting sniffing her jumper. Why did the police check her phone when she died? The P.A looks shifty. Looks like he’s helped her on her way.

Daffodilsandtuplips · 18/09/2023 21:03

How come Gemma, a skint mother of quads and a stepmother manage to afford to dress up like she’s auditioning for X Factor.
Why is Paul arranging his friends funeral? He’s only known her a few weeks!

LemonQuiche · 18/09/2023 21:05

“If an anyone knows what she would’ve wanted, it’s me”…….. who’s know her for the best part of a month.

Jitterybugs · 18/09/2023 21:07

Who’s paying for the funeral? Did Paul say money was no object?
