It was a bit too obvious that Shelley would be found dead, and now Paul will be wracked with guilt!

So Paul is struggling to walk and trots off to see Shelley. Why on earth didnt Billy accompany him 🙄 poor Paul ☹️

I think Paul is playing this role really well - I feel very sorry for him.

I like the actor who plays Paul, seems a proper Manc lad.

I would rather Billy died, he has become a ludicrous character, especially as they never really square up how he is an Archdeacon in the CofE but nobody in the church is ever bothered about him shacking up with his latest boyfriend.

They never seem bothered about his heroin addiction or crime record either, in fact he got a promotion

Paul supporting Billy through this would have been better. Billy is the worst vicar ever and never does any vicaring.
Is Summer going to uni or staying around to help at home.

Sorry but I much prefer Paul to billy. Would have made a better storyline if it had been the other way round. Paul is a great character.

I find Billy creepy.

Didn't Billy have a real life fling with Daniel Barlow...must be awkward on set when that happens.

Living with Amy wasn't great for Summer. Tallboy was not as nice as he seemed and I never really came to terms with Jacob and his dad. The only Way to have fun is to move away to that London.

Why has there been no mention or enquiries as to who hit Eliza and drove off.

Summer is getting little baby Toes of a camel type....How the fuck do you tell your little princess and her friends that leggings are not on!

I rather imagine Summer having late night study sessions with an earnest zoom chum, like modern radio hams, while listening to the dull whining of Billy saying his prayers in the next bedroom as Paul cries his new alkaline tears of resignation and fortitude.

I must read some Stan Barstow again soon.

Did Shelley's carer look suspicious at the end?

Billy the vicar is one big joke.He will be Archbishop of Canterbury next.He will still be living in Coronation Street with drippy Summer and his boyfriend(s) and going in and out of the Rovers always with a bottle in his hand only leaving to officiate at the next big royal occasion, then back to Coronation Street again.
