I wonder how the actors get paid as there are loads of them. Per scene, episode? Contract?
If RSi is on a fixed contract he’s on good money for the very little that he does.

I think anyone considered a regular gets an annual salary. There was a big fuss about it back in the 70s, as some cast members were paid by the episode and the “bigger” stars (Pat Phoenix, Bill Roache etc.) were salaried. It’s why Stephen Hancock, who played Ernie Bishop, quit.

I don’t think he gets much to act. He just seems to appear, stare a bit ( Joey’s famous smell the fart acting) and disappear again.
And no good will.come of the quads permanent colouring book. Absent Tracey as a child as always “ upstairs with her colouring book” , and look how she turned out.
