Anyone else watched/watching this? I'm quite enjoying it, although disappointed it is only 4 episodes. I've just got the last one left to watch.

The 'contestants' are a lot less cocky than I expected and it is refreshing to hear them talking quite honestly about feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. I

MDL Los Angeles is my fave. Although if anyone is going to watch it, skip the early seasons.

If you thought Aly was already cringy, in the last episode it is next level!

Krish gets offered the NY job, I think because he wasn't Aly. I think Vanessa would have got it if she 'd stuck around.

I agree. Victoria was the best one for selling those sort of high end houses. No wonder she got offered a job by another agency during the process.

They’ve stopped it now. I don’t think they made one since covid and both of them have moved on. I wonder if he made the move to LA permanent? I do t think I could watch a new version of it as I was invested in their personal life’s

I liked Krish so I'm glad he got it. But yeah Victoria was the best.

Just can't be bothered by that man who's not happy with anything. Who Krish is showing round

The whole thing is just so cheesy.
Just drives home why I don't like estate agents. Because it's all about sucking up to people and sucking up to people and it's so fake and so not genuine

I missed the beginning, why did Vanessas mum cut her off? Did she actually need to rent in central London? That man was horrible, did Krish already know him? Where do that young couple get their money from?

But I could see why Georgie was asking about few structure when she did and thought so she should know what she'd get out of it

Vanessa's mum was paying her rent for where she lived and told her if she hadn't earnt anything by the end of the year she couldn't keep doing it.
Don't know about if she needed to rent in central London.
Apparently Krish knew him but only because previously he'd managed to sell his house for him. So not on a friends basis.

I’ve watched it. Although mildly entertaining due to the nonsense of it all (particularly enjoyed the delightfully chavvy buyer of the country house with Krish who had zero self awareness and zero intention of buying a house) there is no chance of an American style commission model working in the UK because of how we currently buy and sell houses. The US (and the Paris agency) shows work because of the genuinely huge commissions generated from a sale. The brokers also have to be licences. In the UK it is 1-2% so a £1m house sale generates £10k for the Estate Agency. After the running costs of the EA are paid (Rightmove/shop front etc) That is not enough to be paid onwards to their staff to fund entire Chanel outfits and super yachts in Mykonos a la Selling Sunset 😆

Agree Daniel Shapiro’s conference had all of the MLM vibes and he was by far the creepiest of them. At least the sweary english tubby boss guy was keeping it real and representing what EA here actually look like (Ryan Serhant he was not!)

I thought Krish was the most personable one on there, he seemed such a nice guy. The girl with the bad black dye job annoyed me running around the country house with her mouth wide open and babbling on like a child and aly had a terrible nose job.

Obviously, when people say "food for thought", they have no intention of making an offer.

I'm into this on netflix now!
It does show how hard these guys work! I'm hooked.

I felt a little sorry for Georgie, she was quite out of her depth. Although the constant hair fussing annoyed me. Vanesa was good, and knew how to schmooze, having been a model. Being a salaried estate agent was probably her wisest move. I couldn't believe how poor Aly was in NY. Imagine going out on the lash, going to a strip club, things get wild, so you're not prepared for an important work engagement! Those women were not impressed. I wonder how Krishan will get on.

According to IMDb (Internet Movie Database), there was one more series of Million Dollar Listing New York in Spring 2021, but I haven't seen it.

The conversations with the brokers in the flat in America. Not enjoying watching them. They were trying to test them and Krish and Aly were obviously just trying to think of things to say.
Trying to catch them out and make them feel/look stupid.
Trying to make him look stupid for not pulling the chairs out for them. I mean for god's sake.
Aly was the one boasting he's not nervous and yet he was clearly way more nervous than Krish.
Krish came across better.
