That’s a shame that Carlos lost. Sinner is the only top 10 seed left! I think the way you guys feel about Tommy Paul is the way I feel about Alex de Minaur.

Shocked about Carlos! I'm afraid I can't warm to Paul either

Can't believe that Rybakina has only just finished her match, just before 3am (is it 5 hours difference in Montreal??). Either way, it's very late! And she's due back on court for her semi in 15 hours!

I fell asleep just before the end of the Carlos match(and my phone fell on my face, which hurt a bit). It will be very disappointing for Carlos to have lost.

Could be another unexpected winner this year, like PCB last year.

I don't go out of my way to watch De Minaur, but I do prefer him to Tommy Paul. Who always has I always have to refer to by his full name- even though there are no other 'Pauls' in the draw.

I think I would like a Sinner/ADF final- but De Minaur is definitely enjoying a purple patch, and Sinner could struggle.

(It's going to be Tommy Paul/Alex, isn't it?? ).

Draw out for Cincy- stand out first round match for me is Berrettini/Felix AA- both have had a lot of struggles with form or injuries. It could go either way.

ADF is a strange one - sometimes he plays really well and gets some good results but other times he does an underarm serve when he really shouldn’t or gets defaulted for doing something silly (and then not realising he’s been defaulted!) I do like his quirkiness though
