Just catching up on here. What's happened with Domi?

He lost the first set tiebreak kazza - went off court, came back on looking awful and saying that he felt completely exhausted - played a few points but couldn’t carry on - not sure if it was stomach or breathing problems

Ajla has had to withdraw now! I can't remember the last time Elena had to play all full matches in a tournament!

Such a shame for both Domi and Ajla. Demi’s first win at a slam for a couple of years and Ajla’s just returned after most of the year out following surgery.

Also just seen that Petra lost to Caroline. It’s great to see Caroline doing well on her return but I like Petra so I’m disappointed for her.

Casper lost to Zhang, very disappointing result for him after reaching the final last year.

I was awake in the middle if the night, and missed the end of Casper's match. It was very up and down- after he won the 4th 6-0 I thought maybe he had the match. Maybe Zheng gave away the set- because he won the 5th comfortably 6-2, or Casper ran out of steam.

Not even the end of the first week, and half the players I wanted to do well are out.
But...so long as It's ABD that's all that matters now! But I would like Carlos to defend the title, maybe in a different shirt

Some good matches today- shame Sinner and Sonego are playing each other. Monfils/Rublev should be good. I hope Grigor has recovered front the epic match the other night.

I do hope Domi is ok- and that there isn't some nasty bug sweeping through Flushing Meadows.

We know Beelzebub Ken will be immune to it though, with his special potions and figs.

There is also the fact players have complained of smelling weed near the court (17 mostly).

so now we have the Draper/ Boulter matches showing when I would really like to be watching Sinner/Sonego or Zverev/Altmaier. i doubt we will get the Etcheverry/Stan match later on the 2 channels I have - or Berrettini.

@Raahh I'm watching Sonego v Sinner on Channel9 in Aus via VPN I'd rather be watching Burrage. I was about to sign up to NowTV but I remembered how terrible the coverage was last year!

Draper seems to be doing well although Hubi does quite like stretching things out to five sets

I was thinking about signing up for Now TV but the reviews are terrible - I think I’ll just stick with the two channels (although I might feel differently if Rafa was playing). wouldn’t mind seeing a bit of Berrettini though
