I agree about Matteo’s t shirt - even he can’t make it look good - I think he looks better in black. Felix looks nice in the bright yellow and seems to be coming back in the second set - both of these players seem a bit fragile

I’m glad that they seem to have got rid of the scary baby advert

I had a feeling this match would be pretty even in that they have both had a rough patch recently.

I wish Wispa would shut up.

That was a quick rain delay - barely made it to the loo.

Matteo really has to win this, to stand a chance of maybe getting seeded in New York.

But it's starting to look like Felix is in charge.

I'm sure Felix will be very glad to get this win- I do feel sorry for Matteo though.

Well done Felix- I don't think Matteo's serve was doing it's job so well today. The brief rain break may have put him off too. I do like Felix though- wish they hadn't been playing each other first off.

The rain has already played havoc with the schedule - a number of matches to be finished today. Stan was 5-2 up in the 3rd set of his match when play was suspended.
I don't think any of the courts have a roof . (I get a bit confused because of 'fake Cincy' in 2020- which was played at Flushing meadows, so they did use a roof).

It looked horrendous. The courts looked like lakes. Still don't know why they don't cover them. It would make resumption of play quicker and easier. Maybe they like riding their little machines though

They never seem to include the rearranged matches in the schedule so it’s difficult to know when they’re going to be played - poor Stan having to finish at that scoreline. They don’t seem to be having much luck with the weather so far

I saw that Andy’s match had been cancelled - maybe he’s not fully recovered - I think it was an abdominal strain?

Andy has been included in the GB Davis cup team - it’s in Manchester in September - I would have liked to have gone but will be on my annual pilgrimage to stalk Rafa - maybe I’ll make it to his museum this year!

Kazza when they were vacuuming in Toronto last week, I wondered why they didn't just cover them. It's ridiculous this year- all the tournaments seem to be enjoying making things difficult for themselves.

he was much more animated when he met a dog on the court than by actually winning the tournament! I think he is just a bit of an introvert.

I like Sinner, I don't mind him being a bit quiet. I don't blame him for being excited about the dog though.
