Fisk on Netflix. Australian comedy

Just binge-watched this. (6 episodes). Refreshingly watchable being about a middle aged woman solicitor set in Melbourne.

I'm really enjoying Aussie TV at the moment. Loved Colin From Accounts. Anyone know what breed Fisk's dog is? I may need one.

I liked this. Loved that it featured a middle-aged female character who was allowed to be abrasive, foolish, assertive. Instead of being the'sensible' foil to some bloke's individuality.
Have only seen two or three episodes. I sense that it could get a bit samey, but still.

Seemed promising at first but watched second episode and wax a bit meh about it. I didn't like Colin From Accounts either 😬

Loved it.

Also loved seeing some favourite Aussie actors like Kel and Marion from Kath and Kim, and Pippa and Frank from Home and Away.

Me and a gin and tonic binge watched this tonight and it was perfect for the end game f a hard day. Very funny 😄

Loved it. It's a joy to see a woman portrayed as something quite normal, dry, not fake. That doesn't sound complimentary but it is, right down to the fact she has three identical suits! Love love love.

I enjoyed this & binge-watched it. I thought the main character was great & subtly played (I loved her banning from the coffee shop, and the scene in episode 1 where she's dealing with a bereaved client & has to remember to offer condolences).

The plots & supporting characters were a bit flimsy though & I'd had enough overall by the end of the 6 episodes, series 2 if there is one would need to be a bit sharper.

I loved the little bonding session in the first episode, where she's in the back of the convenience store, sitting on a packing crate with her difficult client who likes the shit coffee.

Both series on ITV X !!!!

Just watched the first 2 episodes and loving it! She’s awkward, authentic, real, but also vulnerable. I keep willing for her to lose her shit every time she is treated badly - just seems to accept what comes her way, e.g., being kicked out of her rental, her father’s husband turning her away, etc.

I loved the Alice Pike episode!

Thank OP - im going to try it. I've just watch Wellmania - also netflix, also Australian. It's much deeper than you would first think it is and I really enjoyed it.

If you haven’t seen it already, Kath and Kim is very funny (it’s quite old though) but similar humour.
