Tonight's Who Do You Think You Are?' helps Lesley Manville trace her family history. Looks interesting although I have to confess I'd watch her in anything!

I don't think @Clawdy is asking what discs LM chose, she's asking if the discs she chose were what put @BitOutOfPractice off her.

I'm curious to know too, I listened to it and don't remember anything off putting.

No not the disks though they wouldn’t have been my choice. I thought the way she spoke about her marriage was a bit off and she seemed a bit, I don’t know, haughty.

Have you seen her in the film Let Him Go? She plays quite a juicy role. Versatile and talented actor I think.

As well as the 9 children of Aaron Harding, I also wondered what happened to the children of her maternal Gps I think it was.

I didn't warm to her on Desert Island Discs either which I didn't expect. She was a bit too luvvie-ish for my liking.

The interesting thing about our shared liking and respect for this splendid actress is that she is far from beautiful - hopefully that will give some encouragement to all those of us who also fall into that category. It is who we are and what we do that matter and not looks.
