When he had his hair ruffled up in the beach hut, it looked great, he should wear it like that.

Lochan and Whitney kissing on the yacht was so sterile, it actually looked like they'd never kissed before, it was so emotionless and awkward.

Re the public vote, i think the producers saw so much criticism that the islanders kept being allowed to cast the deciding votes that they've allowed the public to have the final say this time around.

I wonder what they will replace it with

However they'll likely win... and then break up just like Davide/Ekinsu and Jack/Dani

Why do they plaster on all that foundation? In that heat? It looks terrible, most of them are now wearing the wrong colour. Ella B has a yellow face and Whitney’s attempt at contouring looks like a jigsaw puzzle. The boys have foundation all over their noses when they kiss. Their faces haven’t tanned at all and their skin is blotchy when the slap is scraped off.

Jess seemed to enjoy talking about the date to the girls a lot more than she liked being on the date.

I feel sorry for Ella stuck with Mitch. She needs to do a Liberty and leave.

It really does, and twice a day every day too! And using all those hot brushes and hairdryers on their hair in that heat! Leah and some of the Casa girls were the only ones who went a bit more natural. Whatever Whitney is doing with those light patches on the lower half of her face isn't working even when blended out - her makeup makes her look like her face is two colours.

I hope W goes in the public vote, although that's tough on Lochan. She bloody well skipped over to Ella B to tell her what Mitch had said about being fake (even though she didn't hear it herself) practically clapping her hands with glee. No, Ella B did not need to know at this stage in the game - she'll find out soon enough when she's on the outside. Whitney was just scuppering her chances to be in the final.

I wish there was a way for Ella B to win actually, she seems to be the most switched on and likeable girl in there.

I don't understand why people like Whitney. She's a mean girl. And I'm speaking as someone who made some questionable decisions when I was in my late teens/early 20s. She was only too delighted to tell Ella B about Mitch and I thought how she spoke to OG Ella was awful (and I'm no fan of OG Ella).

Also Zac and Molly do seem to like each other. They ain't in to the big declarations like some of the others have started. Not everyone wants all their business on TV.

As for Jess. She looks bored and fed up and wants out. I would question her self esteem at the moment. She seems to be covering up a lot more than in the beginning. Even when she's sitting down she uses a cushion to cover herself. I assume her mam telling her that her friends didn't like Sammy, made her think twice about him.

Anyway it'll be all over Monday, thankfully. It's been a long few weeks and I'll be glad to watch something else but have invested too much time now to give up on it.

I disagree about Whitney telling Ella B, she knew the boys knew what Mitch had been saying and I think a decent person would be honest with someone to stop them being humiliated. If she'd have gone round telling the other girls so they were all talking about it behind Ella's back then that would be cruel, but Molly evidently told her because she didn't want to directly get involved herself and wanted Whitney to be in the firing line. Lots of islanders who are now out have said she often gives unsolicited advice which I can see would grate especially in that environment though. Surely mitch has to go though, he's awful and anyone voting for him to stay essentially is questionable.

I agree about all the foundation all over them. Terrible! They spend AGES on their make up. Must be an hour and a half! And I hate to say this, but they do look better without it. With much less anyway. I think most women look nicer with a bit of make up (eyeliner, eyeshadow, bit of rouge (showing my age!) tiny bit of tinted moisturiser, and a bit of lippy,) but NO-ONE needs the amount THEY slap on. They're all so desperate for the PLT contract that it's hilarious!

Agee about Whitney. She IS a mean girl. The scales fell from my eyes with her, when she was such an absolute cow to OG Ella the other week. Calling her selfish, and saying 'oooh but I am just telling the TRUTH!.'

Totally. I mean the expression "if you've nothing nice to say, don't say it" is applicable here. This thing of I'm telling my truth is just a cop out. I wouldn't like to have her as a friend that's for sure.

Whitney is being seen as a mean girl because she addresses the situation/ person directly Vs some others that mostly make comments behind people's backs e.g. Mitch and Jess sometimes (which is why they won the most grafties or whatever that award was called) and Molly.
Scott was also direct, I wonder if that is why him and Whit got on so well.

I much prefer someone who is honest with me (with important information or any grievances), than someone who is happy to keep me in the dark and talk behind my back. That's part of being a girl's girl

Thankfully there is no way Whitney is going on the public vote. Only last week she was most popular and Mitch was bottom 3.

how on earth is Ella B switched on? She’s managed to turn Mitch clearly saying she was fake into some watered down version that she allowed herself to believe. And Ella even said she prefers to know although personally I feel Whit should have told Mitch to tell her.

Oh and Mitch also said it won’t work on the outside. Again she knows that and is seemingly fine with that.

I agree this is why I much preferred loving in America. I found the people there more direct. British, especially English culture has so much passive aggressive/ indirectly hostile behaviour instead of just being up front and direct. Someone like Jess is nice enough but she is not up front like Whitney and yes possibly why Scott and Whitney got along.

Yes but this isn't real life, Whitney is not a close friend of Ellas, Mitch is not someone important to Ella - but they are all competing to stay in. Whitney has done it so many times now I can't help but believe that she has an agenda to undermine her competition.

The thing that makes this a bit more messy is that Whitney wasn't there and Molly wasn't there, so it was 3rd hand info she ran to tell her!
She could have just said that she had heard that Mitch was saying some things about her, and she really should speak to him about it. Yes he said he thought she was fake, but some were saying that he has said she was a game-player, which I don't recall him saying.
Whitney didn't try to say that the (3rd hand) info might be wrong - she seemed to be happy to stir the pot. She's always first to tell people when something is possibly wrong in their relationship.

(Caveat - she didn't have to stir the pot, as Mitch did that himself - but a friend would at least try to keep things calm and "there must be a reasonable explanation" kind of thing)

Mitch said he WAS going to tell her because he found out it had got out, but we all saw Whitney break into a run to get to Ella B first.

I think it was just another in a long line of knobhead things Mitch has said and he doesn't think she's fake at all. He has something like tourettes I suspect - he literally can't stop himself from saying things even though he must know he sounds ridiculous. He was the only one commenting on every single Graftie wasn't he? Several of us noticed.

So now Ella B has had this shit comedown after a date she says she enjoyed. For what reason? They only have to stick it out for a few more days.

I think it's great that so many of you can only see the good in Whitney's behaviour but I think she shouldn't have done that. She was not motivated by kindness.

Obv we can't diagnose anything or assume isn't just an arsehole (knob'ead), but my DS has Tourettes and ASD and does this. Constant involuntary/potentially offensive blurting.

I don't really understand why Whitney can say whatever she likes, and make people cry, yet gets defended a lot, when others like Ella OG hasn't done a huge amount wrong but is slated on here.

I haven't slated Ella OG. I think she's alright actually.

I agree though that some people are slated more readily than others. Mitch is a prime example - he has had and shown this behaviour from the start but was given passes - "he's entertaining, harmless etc" up until the grafties - perhaps in part because he went against Scott (imo).

Actually not strictly true - I have slated Ella's choice in Tyrone but not her personally.
