Ella has got prettier as the season progressed, probably because the filler has settled. She looked stunning tonight. Lots of smiles

Well I think the producers have got what they wanted by letting everyone know the favourite couple, everyone seems to be going off Whitney now! I don't get it myself, she is just being honest, and she has never denied Lochan's contribution, unless I missed something

I really like Lochan, he seems down to earth and kind

I like Whitney even more after tonight. She was totally right about Abi being bitter.

After seeing the preview for tomorrow night. I am hoping Scott and Ella B couple up……..so ready for both Mitch and Abi to go home!

Ty made some valid points arguing against Ella and Mitch being chosen, but coming from him it sounds bitter and hypocritical. He's not a good friend, but neither is Mitch so oh well.

Molly and Abi have more than a whiff of smug entitlement about them. Ick.
Not sure why Abi thinks she's a strong couple. She and Scott will be over by they time they arrive back in the UK.

Amber is a really sweet girl. Young but showed more maturity than many others in there

Scott clapping back at Mitch in the preview was perfection.

I mean, Abi’s mad as a box of frogs but I love how Scott always sticks up for whoever he’s coupled up with. He comes across like a real gent.

I don’t understand why they’re all letting Mitch get away with being rude to Abi now actually though. Most of them know he was telling her he wanted her the day before. He’s such a knob.

Ty was hardly raging...just being honest!.

Ty asked Zach and Sammy (?) to set up the beanbags and choc strawberries at the front of the villa. Jess was sent away with Ty and Ella to take photos of them as a distraction. Z came back and joined everyone, and told them what was going on

Well, I didn't have Mitch down on my Love Island Bingo card as the one who would cause all the last minute drama!

I still rate Whitney (and Lochan) - why shouldn't she be allowed to feel more confident now?

They were in a 'damned if they do, damned if they don't' situation having to choose between the 2 couples. Maybe they did base their choice on character or maybe it was pure tactics but I suspect the other islanders would have made their choices in a similar way if it had been down to them. Whitney isn't some wise Yoda character - she's just human!

I'm v confused re Mitch - he says that he never said he and ella wouldn't work on the outside- but I thought he did say that? Either way, he said he didn't want to kiss her and realised he was forcing things with her.

Couldn't be arsed with them all saying how Whitney/Lochan made the wrong choice. Bloody hell, they were told to choose, which they did - there was no right or wrong decision and honestly they didn't need to justify it to anyone.

Abi sure does a lot of talking about a boy she doesn't care about! 😏

When Abi coupled up with Mitch I thought she just saw him as an easy ticket to staying in the villa and going as far as possible. Now I think she actually really liked him (really quickly). They probably are a good match in how quickly they get attached, they love bomb and are obsessive

I felt sorry for Abi - she agreed with Ty but Whitney (& everyone) ignored Ty & are trying to make a bigger deal out of it with Abi than it actually is.

I'm now rooting for Abi & Scott to win!

Ty so obviously was rattled by Ella B coming back and by not being top couple and all manner of his own motivations rather than some moral high ground. Likewise Abi can hardly preach about how LI is for strong couples when she's ended up with Scott from sheer circumstance. I didn't like how she took the vote to mean she's popular when it's Scott who'd have got them votes, nothing to do with her.

Also think it's predictable for people to be liking Whitney less now. They're playing that storyline to add a bit of uncertainty into the mix, making it look like it might've gone to her head but she's being the same as she always was and has a very strong sense of herself. I'm glad someone in there isn't as flaky as most and keeps her cool when the likes of Abi are acting crazed. Whitney's still the winner for me.

And she gets the show, that's why anyone would pick Mitch and Ella B over Ouzy bless him who was easy on the eye but added little else. Kady brought good drama but makes more sense for them to go. Despite what Abi argued, it absolutely needs big characters not boring (tenuous) love stories. Everyone's insecurities were coming showing by banging on about strong couples, when really none of them can stake a claim.

Mitch is one to talk calling Abi obsessed, has he forgot his behaviour towards Molly

I loved Whitney’s comment to Jess about her carrying Sammy. Whit is really savvy, she sees what goes on and keeps her counsel, there’s a reason she and Lochan are most popular, she sees and understands what we all see.

Mitch and Abi are stark staring mad the two of them. I pity Scott and Ella B getting caught up in that toxic quadrangle. I still hope for a lovely lass to come in and pair up with Scott for the win but I fear he’s too loyal to whichever girl he is with and wouldn’t look elsewhere out of being a decent sort (and because he recognises that Abi would probs shave his eyebrows off while he slept or something).

Ty and Ella, meh, Mawlie and Zach, meh.

I never understand their argument that strong couples should stay. No, shouldn't couples with potential stay? The strong couples have found what they came for, so why should nobody else have a chance?

Abi was plain out-and-out bitchy last night and the way Ella B addressed it when she spoke to her privately was really articulate and pure class.

I think Molly could also have thought of something nicer to say to Ella B than "I'm glad you came back because you're not Kady".

Whitney's "bluntness" is having an influence on everyone else - the gloves are off now and they're all telling it like it is! There's an awful lot more straight talking and arguing in the villa.

I think Zach genuinely fancies Molly but she's not his normal type and he doesn't know how to handle her. Because she's a drama queen. He's much more straight forward.

I agree re Abi. As much as she was agreeing with Ty, it was how she said it that was sneery.
And she was very smirky when Maya told Mitch and Ella they were in the bottom 3
