I think that some of my brain must have died over the summer - I didn’t get any questions right on Only Connect (apart from the missing vowels round Grotgags!) - I thought the questions were supposed to be easier in the early rounds!

Fines only really hit the lower ranked players in their pockets- players like Djok should be hit where it really hurts them- dock ranking points , or ultimately, bar them from tournaments.

It's not a good look for the racqet sponsors either- I know Yonex fine players who smash racquets (on top of the tournament fine).

Real karma would be that Djok's tantrum has caused a long term injury to his wrist. That would be a result.

He was certainly waggling his hand about afterwards, as though it was hurting. Bereft of tennis, I watched some of the Boris Becker documentary on ITV-X. Very good.

Is the Becker doc a balanced picture of him with lots of tennis or scandal orientated? I'll watch it if there's lots of his tennis history but if it's all about his escapades I think I won't bother. Thanks!

I did get the global/continental/national connection last night so was feeling very pleased with myself.

I am also missing Wimbledon although I am actually getting some work done today which is a good thing!

I’m only a few minutes into the Boris programme and they’re already talking about horses in the bedroom ! I think he was hiding them there for tax purposes (hopefully!)
