For the first time I'm old enough to be the Wimbledon champion's mother.

That was such an exciting match.

And I'm glad he won, I don't like when sport is dominated by one player. Nothing against Novak in particular. I thought his speech was funny. I like him. But I'm glad someone different won.

That was incredible.

Carlos should be very proud of himself, not only is he an exceptional player he seems like a very lovely young man. Very humble and gracious with a wonderful temperament.

He seems genuinely decent and really very sweet.

And in contrast to Djokovic, he is a wonderful role-model for youngsters. Proving that grace and good sportsmanship is the right way to do things. Not violent temper-tantrums.

It's driving me mad. They have loved Carlos all fortnight, thought he was the best new kid on the block- til today. And it all became about Djok.

And still with misleading stat about losing on Centre, as though he hasn't lost at Wimbledon in the last 10 years. He has.

I am glad Felipe grew that beard. He's 10x hotter with it.
