It was obvious the crowd were on Ons side- but they still were very appreciative of Aryna as she left court, so that was nice.

I definitely don’t favour him but I kind of admire the cold steeliness. He just marches on where others can fall down

Tennis is so much about the head

I definitely warm to other players more too

The rain there sounds nearly as bad as the hail storm I walked in
(The trainers I wore that day have still not dried out!)

The rain was crazy! Luckily I had my brolly and it didn’t dilute my Prosecco! People were looking at us a bit strangely!

I’ve read the Sue Barker book magi - it’s a good read in a jolly hockey sticks sort of way. Sue comes across as fun and a true professional - maybe Clare should read it!

I think Djok has realised that no one is ever going to really like him and is embracing his inner villain - just seen his press conference where he said he didn’t want to seem arrogant but he backs himself to win Wimbledon

Still recovering from a tiring but lovely day yesterday. Poor Elina seemed quite flat and tired - she seemed to have hit a wall but really pleased for Marketa who played well

Also really pleased for Ons but Aryna played really well - some of her shots were so powerful - I’m glad that she got a good reception from the crowd after the match - I didn’t even mind her noisiness!

Looking forward to the men’s semis today (on the telly!) - the weather forecast is not looking good - come on Jannik!

Didn’t manage to see the butterfly fancier kazza - the scores kept popping up on the big screen - I think he lost but is playing again today - it’s a good way of keeping him out of the commentary box!

Definitely fizzy! He* *can play on all day, every day, as far as I'm concerned.
