And re the mums, I read that Angelique Kerber also wants to come back to the tour after having her baby earlier this year. It’s great that having a baby no longer seems to be the end of a tennis career like it used to.

Aww, Martina really is looking so well. She is playing doubles with Mark Woodforde at the moment - against Babsi and Tomas Johansson.

I like Angie- so many tennis babies around. Jo Konta was playing yesterday /today - and she had her baby around the same time as Elina. Caroline Wozniacki had her second at the same time, and is also supposed to be playing the invitational matches.

Barbora Strucova is another mother who's doing well, into the doubles semifinal.

held yes, it's on iplayer- they are on court 18. There's no commentary (but sometimes that's a good thing ).
