Best series of Friends?

After a long debate with my OH, I continue to believe that Series 3 was the best series of friends.
He disagrees.
Taken from the web, here's a really good justification to support my opinion:

In season three, Friends really hit its stride. It’s the season that managed to break our hearts and has perfect comedic beats at the same time in “The One with the Morning After," one of the show's saddest yet most excellent episodes, adding serious emotional depth to the season.
It’s the season that taught audiences that cushions are the essence of the chair and never to hide a person’s underwear as one can never know what they will deem a suitable reciprocation.
In season three, fans are also shown a giant poking device for poking a possibly dead naked guy from the balcony. It’s the season that introduced the Geller Cup, the Chick, and the Duck, and, last but not least, "We were on a break!” – the line that would go on to become a staple of Ross and Rachel's relationship and the show itself.
So, in your opinion, which series of Friends is the best?

I love season 6, the Bruce Willis episodes are hilarious, and there’s Unagi, Ross’ Teeth and the Routine 🤣

Series 2 or 3!

I actually agree I prefer seasons 1-3 I liked the earlier ones and I have to admit I liked Monica and Richard together too

I’m not sure I could pick a favourite tbh but I do think series 3 is one of my favourites

Season 3 makes sense because of what you've said but personally season 8 will always be my favourite! I love the whole Rachel pregnancy storyline, I just love it.

Ah I think the whole Rachel pregnancy is my least favourite storyline (and the Joey/Rachel
storyline) love that people like different storylines

Yes series 1-3 definitely! I loved the early friends before they all became characatures of themselves in the later series! Also I was in love with Matthew Perry in the early series 😅

Either season 3 or 5 for me.
I loved it Monica and Chandler sneaking around and when everyone finds out.

Series 3 definitely, if only for 'The one where no one's ready'. Best episode ever!

I liked series 7, the ones with the Nap Partners, the cheesecakes, the holiday Amarillo, where they all turn thirty, joeys award, lots of good episodes and it ends with Monica and Chandkeers wedding.

@Mybusyday oh the Rachel/Joey storyline is definitely the worst one! Although the silver lining is it did give rise to "Really, I'm fiiiiinnne" 😄
I'm watching series 4 again now with them switching apartments lol. It's that nice sweet spot just before the annoying Emily episodes!
Ohh I'm remembering I liked the Eddie storyline too whatever series that one is. "You killed my fish" 😄😄

Same. Seasons 5-7 were the best - from Monica and Chandler sneaking around up to their wedding day.

Mixing it up a little- what is the scene you like least and the scene you love most?
For me the one I like least is Monica proposing to Chandler. I find it so cringy and forced, and just ick ick ick.
The scene I love most has to be when the girls are all in wedding dresses and Rachel opens the door to Joshua, "I dooooo! Yeah that oughtta do it" 😄

Ohh great mix up! The scene I like least is The Routine with Monica and Ross dancing the New Year’s Eve routine - my favourite scene is The one with the blackout when they are all singing top of the world in the apartment and Ross is getting attacked by the cat - I don’t know why! Oh but also closely followed by Joey’s face when he finds out about Monica and Chandler getting together in the one where everyone finds out

The best scene is Phoebe trying to seduce Chandler in The One Where Everyone Finds Out.

My favourite scene is Rachel is her pyjamas and Ross dedicates 'With or Without You' to her on the radio...
So she rings the station, and tells them what he did!
