To switch from sky to virgin?

I've just been quoted £111 a month for my sky package which has gone up significantly from the original £65 we used to pay. I'm now looking at alternative providers and have seen that virgin offer a similar package for a fraction of the price. Has anyone switched from sky to virgin and if so can you let me know what it's like in comparison.

We cancelled Sky and replaced with Now TV. We're logged in on TV's across the house and on iPads. The entertainment package and movies cost me around £20 a month (I have movies on a deal as they offered me them for cheap when I went to cancel).

There's no way I'd consider paying for Sky or Virgin now.

Wow, that’s a lot! I’ve just renewed with Virgin - landline, broadband and tv for £54 a month. I just told them I was not prepared to pay the new charges and wanted the same price as new customers were offered, after a bit of negotiating, they met my demands!
