How old is Wendy supposed to be? It’s a wonder they don’t give her a “change of life” surprise pregnancy with the added who’s the daddy drama. Nothing would surprise me with these scriptwriters. It must be a few weeks since we’ve had an unwanted pregnancy.

It’s hard to tell what the age difference between Squeaky Shiny Wendy and Beardy Bro Liam is supposed to be.

She’s had work done and he’s gone quite hairy, so I can’t really tell. Fifteen years, maybe? Ten years? I mean, it’s not mega, is it?

Real life Liam is only 41 and I think he looks older. Real life Wendy is 58 and I think looks younger. So in Emmerdale it has never really occurred to me that there's much of an age gap.

She's a bonny lass but does miserable faces very well. 😟😞😖

Whining Wendy is such a painful character, that endless fake-crying with not a tear in sight but the whingey whiney voice. I wouldn't normally advocate violence but Bob really should throw a toilet brush or something at her. And why, oh why, can she not dredge up a few tears when she's supposed to be crying??

I just don't get the whole scenario with her and Liam. Banging on about not wanting to hurt Bob while all the while shagging someone else and making damn sure she hurt Bob. They weren't married, didn't own property, didn't have kids - she should have done the decent thing and finished with him.

As for Liam, he was always such a nice, decent character, I find it unbelievable he would have been so willing to cause Bob so much pain and humiliation all because he couldn't resist Whiney Wendy.

I wonder if Kim’s son Jamie will ever come back. Or have I imagined that he wasn’t dead after all and is living a few miles away in Hotten??

Jamie wasn't really dead as there was some mention of him being around when Millie came to visit.
Nothing seemed to come of it, rather like Alex and the robbery and Rhona's embryos....... and I'm still convinced the vicar's father isn't really ill but just wanting attention and somewhere to stay.
