It is upsetting, certainly. But as I said, so far, brilliantly acted.

People with their own experiences will need to use their own judgement, I guess.

Agree that it's an upsetting storyline and could be a trigger for some. But, brilliantly acted and handled sensitively thus far, awareness never to leave your drink unattended events/places like this.

Just read one of my earlier comments right at the start of this thread. I was complaining that the storyline had dried up a bit and that Marilyn's beauty sales venture was just a filler. I obviously don't watch or read spoilers, so very wrong with that one. All of a sudden we have several full on stories.... hopefully they keep the ball rolling.

I watched the late showing of that episode. It was done really well I thought.

I usually dislike PSAs hidden in TV drama - but this will I hope raise awareness, and give people out having a good time, pause for thought and make them more careful.

I cannot imagine how things will be for Flick and Tane now.
(Although he has been magnificent with her/her "issues" so far....)

I've spent the afternoon catching up with a week and a half of H&A, after network issues. It was well done, I think.

That's about half the cast in hospital scenes the last week or so...

Still haven't had the chance to catch up on this week's yet, got a very badly behaved child who is taking up every min

I’ve always found Flic so annoying but I have to say I’m so impressed with the actress at the moment!

I used to as well but quite early on she grew on me as she played the character so well.

I watched it with my dd’s and we were pretty much silent throughout.

im glad they’re still showing flick and not hiding it away. Tough watch.

Now two big storylines. I hope hers gets the attention it deserves.

i'm watching it now, fuck its a hard watch and she's amazing, the look on her as realisation dawned when she woke up.

i read an article from her about it, and how hard she found it, the research she'd put into it because she knew she had to get it right and how much it affected her, so i def think this is more than a hanfdul of episodes and then never mentioned again.

@SleepingStandingUp That's interesting. It must be hard to portray something like that, and she is doing very well so far. Looking at what's coming up, it's not looking good for her and Tane, and I am not at all surprised that that is how she (the character) would act afterwards. She - as would many - will push him away (again - but for different reasons this time), and he will I know, be torn apart by how to handle it.
I also think she will go through a period of not caring about her appearance etc , but will at some point rebound and go back to her usual style and maybe even more. I do hope she has some good support around her, as I can see that she would self-destruct and maybe put up barriers, especially against poor Tane.

i thought Eden was pitched beautifully, quiet, the tight smiles, her own tears. i hope they keep their friendship tight and Bree supports her too tho she must feel so much guilt and she's still got cowbag to contend with
