So Zig and Dean have left, leaving lonely Mack with just Mali to walk in on in the bathroom. Remi loves Bree and Cash loves Eden, Tane married Flic and Leah hasn't dumped Justin yet. Kirby loves Theo and that's about it.

But who'll love who by page 40....

Kirby got me today, agree this will affect everyone in the bay 😢

Blackbeardsvest · 03/10/2024 15:09

Actually, why do I keep watching this show?!! Still remember sobbing my heart out when Meg died in Blake's arms when I was a teenager so they've been making me cry for over 30 years GrinBlush

Whatthetrolley · 03/10/2024 18:48

😭😭😭😭😭

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 03/10/2024 19:03

I remember crying when Shane died and more recently when Casey Braxton died.

This is so well played. Poor Tane and Cash.😭😭

I love how all the hospital staff stood like a guard of honour (and Remi was there) when they wheeled Flick out to do the transplant. And the nice little touch of the haka at the end.

So well acted by them all. The actress that plays Bree does it so well.

Not looking forward to what's to come by the look of the bit at the end.

@xxSideshowAuntSallyxx

Totally agree.

The song was lovely as well.

💔

strugglingwithlife · 03/10/2024 19:35

I have a couple of episodes to catch up with but know I will be a sobbing mess.
I have watched it right from the early days when I was a kid and I also cried my eyes out over Meg, Shane and Casey, among others. Kat was so sad as well, and Charlie.

FlutteryButterfly · 04/10/2024 15:52

Yep, that broke me. Very well done, the acting is superb considering the quality you often get it soaps.

Omg I thought we had a neighbours cross over then as the Dr in Neighbours is called Remi

I cried at the preview at the end of the 6.30 one today. Tomorrow is going to be difficult.

I find Harper so bloody frustrating, why can't she just leave Tane alone?! He's grieving and she is there yet again.

T f he's always seeking her out, he did willingly have sex with her and she is pregnant with his baby. She's not pushing him for anything she's just there. I'm not sure in her shoes I'd be refusing to support him when he's asked etc.

Male Remi in H&A, female in Neighbours.

strugglingwithlife · 06/10/2024 21:09

Just caught up on the last few episodes. Omg 😭

Wasn't it a drunken one night stand, she brought the booze to the gym after his court case? She seeked him out but he's a grown man and all that jazz.

PrincessScarlett · 07/10/2024 18:26

I'm really impressed with how they are showing the different types of grief the other characters are going through. When a character dies it is often glossed over and everyone is back to normal within a week. Showing how different people are struggling and the decisions over switching off life support and organ donation has been absolutely brilliant albeit devastating.

The little touches such as the medical procedure to test brain activity, the photo of Cash and Felicity as kids, the note in the fridge and Levi texting Eden are all hugely emotional in their own right and really make the storyline so real and so well done.

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 09/10/2024 07:15

I'm looking forward to seeing Gary, still can't believe he was the guy in Baywatch!

Think its all been written so well, including the family only funeral (there's a thread in AIBU about a funeral and people on it are saying funerals are public events that anyone can go to). No big send off, just Cash and his family(I do think Tane should be there, although I wouldn't want my ex at my funeral playing the merry widower). They're staying true to the characters in that respect.

Blackbeardsvest · 09/10/2024 11:08

Looks like I'm starting tomorrow crying again then, maybe I need to pick something else to watch at breakfast time! Feels a bit predictable for Cash to push Eden away, it would have been good if they'd let his character be vulnerable for a change, although I suppose there's still time.

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 10/10/2024 18:55

I've cried every night this week. I'm glad they didn't rush it, so well done.

But good timing Harper, coming out with it during Flick's memorial.

She followed him to see if he was ok, he kissed her. They both had drunken sex. Neither used protection. He's always calling her re Perri etc and he's her personal trainer so she can hardly avoid him. I'm annoyed she's pregnant and Flick is dead but I understand why she's going to tell him sooner or later. And she did it to stop him doing something stupid. I hate having to defend Harper lol but she's not the evil witch who did bad things to the poor little man

Yeah, even the characters that weren't really big in her life, like how it's causing Leah to remember and Justin is in fox it mode. Bloody Kirby is annoying me. Just snog him ffs

I’ve not watched the flick dying scenes as I was in ane. Watched the funeral and I’m glad they haven’t rushed the story.

poor Eden though.

Rummikub · 15/10/2024 21:13

What’s cash like. And tane.

strugglingwithlife · 15/10/2024 21:34

Caught up on the last few episodes earlier. Couldn't stop crying, the funeral, the memorial and Cash breaking up with Eden.

SleepingStandingUp · 17/10/2024 22:33

I feel a bit sorry for Harper, can I say that without being shot lol? She's told him and he's immediately telling everyone they're having a baby together without her having chance to tell anyone. Ok Perri I understand but clearly people are gonna think they're together!

I think Tane has been behaving like a dick recently and I’m starting to really go off the character. His response to finding out about the pregnancy was unbelievably selfish and childish, with his drinking and his strop about Dana and Xander knowing. He has no rights over Harper or her body at all! She can tell who she likes when she likes - she owes him nothing. I find it frustrating to watch her feeling like she has something to apologise for.

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 18/10/2024 06:58

Tane has always been a dick so this is nothing new. They softened his character but when he first appeared he was slightly dodgy (I remember Ari asking him where he got the money for the rent/deposit on the house) and a complete sl*t.

PrincessScarlett · 18/10/2024 08:22

Yes do actually feel a bit sorry for Harper as she knows she'll always be second best to Felicity. I'm pleased they are going down the co parenting route rather than Tane proposing and forcing a relationship. However I do think they will probably get together romantically eventually.

Tane is being a dick telling everyone without checking with Harper. Really disrespectful.
