So Zig and Dean have left, leaving lonely Mack with just Mali to walk in on in the bathroom. Remi loves Bree and Cash loves Eden, Tane married Flic and Leah hasn't dumped Justin yet. Kirby loves Theo and that's about it.

But who'll love who by page 40....

Devastating episode end. Felicity was so happy and full of life at the party 😭

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 27/09/2024 14:19

I know, you could tell something was going to happen when Flick said they weren't cursed and Tane looked like he wanted to get back together with her and Xander said they never stopped loving each other.

He can't get together with Harper, he doesn't love her and she'll bore him to tears. I'll be so annoyed if they kill Flick off (which is looking likely) and put Tane and Harper together.

Irene's story had me almost in tears, it was so heartbreaking to watch (I have a friend who is a recovering alcoholic and know only too well the struggles), so glad she called John.

PrincessScarlett · 27/09/2024 15:55

Harper has missed her chance to tell Tane about the pregnancy and now Felicity's collapse is going to consume him and everyone else. Harper will know that she'll always be second best/rebound girl.

Whatthetrolley · 27/09/2024 20:34

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to cope with Monday's episode 😭

FlutteryButterfly · 27/09/2024 21:03

Second that @Whatthetrolley 😢, I get quite emotional with well potrayed and acted death scenes. I know its soapland but my heart kind of aches as resurfaces feelings I've encountered in the real world.

Loved flicks character she really grew on me, Jacqui is a fab actress. I wonder where she'll go next because it's a big step up to crack Hollywood.

Tane and Flick were so well suited and wow the chemistry. No one else has that right now.

HesterPrincess · 27/09/2024 21:27

I did roll my eyes seeing her laid out in ITU with perfect hair, make up and a tiny plaster on her forehead ....... given that she had emergency surgery for an aneurysm Hmm I do wish that they'd pay more attention to detail sometimes. But I do think there was little more that they could do with her character to be fair.

BadMotorhomeParent · 28/09/2024 11:46

Isn't there going to be a sad trip to the OR for organ donation?
I hope she has registered somewhere for that, as Cash will not have an easy time making the call.

EBearhug · 28/09/2024 15:25

Are Flick and Tane actually divorced yet? I know it's Summer Bay so everyone knows everyone and they all spend about 50% of their lives up at the hospital. But officially, Tane could be her NoK rather than Cash.

ThomasThorne · 28/09/2024 16:16

Oh gosh I stopped watching around a year ago as was finding the flick assault hard to watch and didn’t end up coming back. The thread stayed on my ‘watching’ so I’ve popped back now and then to keep up with storylines. So flick died? That’s so sad 😢

Oh, maybe they aren't... bad luck for either Tane or Cash though.
Until she collapsed (and even though something ominous was being telegraphed with the whole "feelgood" aspect), we could have been forgiven for thinking that they would be getting back together - with only the Harper-Tane baby as a (sadly) cloud on the horizon.
How wrong was I?

strugglingwithlife · 29/09/2024 18:36

I'm almost caught up and I'm dreading the next few episodes, had seen clips weeks ago on Instagram and they had me in floods so I'm gonna need a lot of tissues! Had to mute the home and away page on Instagram as fed up with seeing spoilers as they're about 6 weeks ahead of us

SleepingStandingUp · 30/09/2024 09:21

I'm going Tane tells her he can't ever love her like he loved Flick and she has the self respect to not take the crumbs and says let's co parent. Having a kid on home and away is a sore indicator that your time is running out though.

Some great acting - I almost cried as well. (And there is of course more sadness to come.)
Bree does so well - not a week goes by that she isn't treating someone she cares about, and the actress makes her very believable.
So much sadness for Eden too - she looked worn out - and after such a lovely day before.
😪

PrincessScarlett · 01/10/2024 14:18

Today was a tough watch. Showing all the tests they do to check for brain activity was heartbreaking and really made it feel real.

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 01/10/2024 15:36

It made me so sad.

Loved Flick's fun nature. She brought a much needed bit of carefreeness to the show. Even brought out a side to Tane that we no longer see.

I'm just waiting for Harper to bulldoze in on Tane's grief, and tell him she's pregnant because you know that's what will happen.

strugglingwithlife · 01/10/2024 16:58

I was unable to hold back the tears in today's ep 😞

Blackbeardsvest · 01/10/2024 17:15

I woke up crying this morning (life stuff) and always watch on catch up while I eat breakfast, big mistake today! I loved Flick, really sad they've killed her off Sad

strugglingwithlife · 01/10/2024 19:32

Sorry to hear that @Blackbeardsvest
It is so sad, she ended up being one of my favourites after taking a while to warm to her

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 01/10/2024 19:34

The bit at the end for the next couple of episodes preview doesn't look promising. Of course Harper is hovering around Tane.

She brought out a side to Eden I like too, and Cash. All whilst being her own strong character.

I guess it was the only way to give her a happy ending. Leaving behind her brother and Eden and the business would have looked like running away, although I'd sad there's no chance for a comeback. I guess this is one way for the actress to feel she really has to make it work. I hope she DOES do well in the movies. Maybe some ex H&A stars can give her a helping hand. Her and Chris Hemsworth would be a BEAUTIFUL couple!!

Oh my, I'm bawling. Mackenzie finding the note from Felicity in the fridge has tipped me over the edge 😭

Blackbeardsvest · 02/10/2024 15:10

I managed not to cry today, minor miracle! Mac, Eden and Cash are all breaking my heart in different ways though, also poor Bree, that scene where she came home to Remi Sad

xxSideshowAuntSallyxx · 02/10/2024 19:23

I cried at the preview at the end of the 6.30 one today. Tomorrow is going to be difficult.

I find Harper so bloody frustrating, why can't she just leave Tane alone?! He's grieving and she is there yet again.

I always hate to see people being wheeled away for organ donation - yes, it's a tribute, but it so immensely Real.
This is being incredibly well done. I hope they get a Logie or two.

Tane and Cash are broken by it aren't they? And of course, Eden, and Mac....
She was such a live wire - someone with a presence like that will be missed so much.

I did love how she smoothed things over at least a little for Eden, who struggled to take the much needed job at Salt. I hope the still simmering issues don't get reignited.

(I refuse to talk about Harper//baby - even though we all know there will be a dramatic storyline soon. Poor Tane.)

SleepingStandingUp · 03/10/2024 12:49

I'm glad they gave this storyline space. Sometimes they can intersperce the serious stuff with humour but i'm glad with it being such a tragic death they basically gave the storylines over to it. And yes, because of her job and personality it will affect the whole Bay
