I think this years Love Island is probably the most diverse we’ve ever had which is fantastic but it does mean some darker men/women will be dumped just due to the nature of the game. I don’t think that’s a race thing, just a numbers thing? Absolutely willing to be told otherwise though if there is something I’m not seeing.

Ella is gorgeous but hard work. Tyrique is no prize with his shifty energy either mind.

I do wish they'd do an all black Love Island so that we can watch and comment without there being any potential racist allegations. I'd happily watch that.

I think it's super diverse this year which is great. I don't think Tyrique being interested in Kady is anything to do with colour. I think he likely finds Kady very attractive and she also has notoriety already, which is what they are all seeking

I’m gutted for Whitney she genuinely likes Medhi but you can tell from his body language that he’s just not into her.

Catherine is so not into him.

I'm not sure she likes him romantically.

This is a very odd series.

Cannot believe I’m actually watching this dross when glasto is on. Luckily for bbc iplayer I can catch up on any missed bits from the musical fields later on. . I always have to mute when there’s any snogging the sounds of it give me the proper ick I’m such a prude. Leah would have snogged a paper bag at this point she’s been pied so many times.

Love Island is just like a 45 min trailer and no content.

Bringing people back cos they can't cast decent personalities.

You can imagine they were all told a few hours before. Yawn.

Don’t want to derail but my tip for glasto is to watch on the iplayer live but on the actual telly so I can switch between all the stages when I get bored of one artist or band I just skip over to the next stage…..never watch it on mainstream telly. Wish I was doing that now instead of this drivel but needs must I’m committed to love island for good or bad at this point so will see it through to the bitter end. This thread is so sparse guessing most vipers have jumped ship fair enough really.

This show honestly showcases men for the snakes they mostly are. No loyalty and “heads can turn” at the first sniff of new blood. Jesus wept. Why do women even bother?

The under boob and side boob this season is out of control. Whatever has happened to the well fitted bikini top. Are all these women shopping in the teen ranges? They are popping out all over the place. Super uncomfortable?

Ella needs to call it a day with Ty, and get her self worth back. This is getting embarrassing.

Leah's looked painful last night, the way the strap was digging right into her boob. Surely that's not healthy.

Ella is a bit of a misery isn't she? She never seems to have fun, she's very angsty.

Ty would start an argument with himself just to be arguing. Looks like he was trying to start an argument with Ella to justify having an interest in Kadee.

I think she started that. She wants 100% of Ty's attention but isn't willing to say she's closed off and kicks of every time he talks to another woman. But yeah, she should dump him and move on
