Bloody Djok. As soon as I saw Karen had won the first set I knew Djok would be winning in 4.

I missed all of the Svitolina match, but she was playing Sabalenka, so I don't know what happened when it came to the 'non handshake' at the end. Maybe that's why she was booed. Usually, Sabalenka is not really that well liked- and Elina is a bit of an 'honourary French woman' so odd if she was booed.

All of a sudden, there seem to be a lot of Ukrainian/Russian/Belarussian matches - on the women's side, anyway.

The closer it gets to the end, the more I get a horrible feeling Djok will win.

I think it’s because there are so many Russian women rising up the rankings Raahh. I can understand the no handshake thing, I think in most cases it is more symbolic than anything else.
