Cerundolo v Rune could be interesting today - Rune seems to be flying under the radar a bit this tournament. Sascha has got the night slot again!

Tomorrow’s men’s quarters are looking good - Stef v Alcaraz and Djok v Khachanov - wonder if we’ll get the Djok/Alcaraz semi that everyone seems to want?

You would think Djok fans would be nocturnal, what with him being Beelzebub and all.

I have never made any secrets about who I like and don't like. I'm a Rafa fan girl, and proud of it. (Stefan Edberg will always be my number 1 though). I like a lot of different players, though, for different reasons. I enjoy discovering new players.

But I can still appreciate the skill and talent of players like Fed and Murray, even if I have never really liked watching them as players. That's the fun of being a fan. (Kyrgios is on another level of dislike- because I think his talent is overrated and he's an underachieving oik, and the media still treat him like he's 15).

But I can't even appreciate Djok's skill. Everything about him irks me. He is needy and irritating. Even ignoring his batshit views on pretty much everything, he's odd.

I know he will end up with the most titles, and that on paper he is actually the most complete player ever, really. But there is nothing to like about him. I can't even admire the fact he's good. .

They have been desperate for the Djok/Alcaraz semi all through the clay season Fizzy- so I am almost hoping it doesn't happen!

Carlos has been playing well- but Djok appear to have done what he often does and moved up a gear. even though ADF pushed him a bit- I can't see Karen getting close, really.
To be honest, I think there's more danger that Carlos could lose to Stef- but I'm not sure. Stef needs to keep La Famille away from the court.

Holger is very cleverly keeping his head down, no contoversy and I would actually really like to see him make it to the end. But Cerundolo is playing very well at the moment and hasn't anything to lose by throwing the kitchen sink at him.

But lurking around is Grigor- who knows? Maybe it could be his year . I'd actually love that.

I agree with everything you say about Djok Raahh - I just don’t trust him with all his fake injuries, weird magic fig tree hugging, anti vaxxing nonsense and yes I don’t enjoy watching him play even when he’s playing well - I just don’t like him

When I told someone I was going to Wimbledon they said I bet you’re hoping to see Djokovic - they were a bit taken aback by my response!

I don’t know anyone who likes him - I think he just brings it all on himself and then wonders why no one likes him - anyway rant over (don’t get me started on Kyrgios! )

I have just been speaking to my mum- I think we have found one of the rare Djok fans, apparently my gran 'feels sorry for him'. .

Casper playing now- he lost to Jarry the other week, but this is best of 5, so a bit different.

I felt sorry for him once - never again!

Fizzy yes, there was a brief time in 2018 when I felt sorry for him.

Today- funnily enough - it's exactly 5 years since Chickenato beat Djok at RG . i watched it from the hospital, when I had kidney stones .

As I may have already said fizzy we* deliberately chose our Wimbledon tickets this year on days when Djok should definitely not be playing. As defending champion (it sticks in my craw just to write that!) he should play on first day of the Championships, then every other day after that. So DS went for Centre Court on first Saturday and I went for No1 Court on second Monday, given there is now play on the Sunday. If our best laid plans are disrupted by some unforseen Cock up (literally!!) we will not be happy!!

My Wimbledon was also planned around avoiding Djok! I have tickets for No 1 court on the first Monday.

I’m going to Wimbledon on the second Thursday on centre court kazza - it should be the women’s semis and the mixed doubles final so hopefully should be able to avoid Djok

I’m a bit disappointed to not be seeing any of the men’s singles (with the exception of Djok!) but hopefully we’ll still get to see some good tennis

Also with Rafa not playing this year I won’t have FOMO so that’s good

All happening here to day- my dad has just called, because he's off for cataract surgery this afternoon. He seems quite chirpy about it. I'm going to send him a pirate patch for Father's day. And maybe a parrot.
