The 'game' was quite strange, Jane- it involved a blank map of France, and pictures of cheeses/different food/ French fashion- and Coco had to put the pictures on the map.
The magnets were not very magnetic.

It's the sort of thing I can't see them getting Mats to do. But Alize thought it was funny.

I haven't seen Alize yet even though Babsy keeps mentioning her.

I see there have been complaints about the scheduling, and the fact it's a men's match again.

It is difficult, I suppose- not many of the women's matches have been epics. Ons was on court for just over an hour, and Iga, /Elena won their matches in about an hour and a half. The longer women's matches(at this stage) tend to feature players that they would be less inclined to put on in the 'peak' spot.

He must be feeling quite confident after winning in Geneva.

Not that winning something always helps. As Daniil would testify.

I still don’t really understand the night sessions - I think they could have made a bit more effort in putting some women’s matches on but yes I suppose the crowd want to get their money’s worth

Oh no I remember Sascha’s injury against Rafa last year

Sascha's injury was horrible, and the match was so long and stressful up to that point. I don't know if he would have won, but it was destined to be one of the longest matches ever, the way they were playing.

Re- the night matches, I suppose they should do what the US Open /Australia do- there are usually 2 night matches. That start earlier. But the weather is usually better, and often matches go into the early hours.

They survived for years without the need to have a 'night' session. They just played the matches til they finished!

Yes I remember it being very stressful Raahh - I think I was packing to go on holiday which usually makes me stressed anyway and that match didn’t help!

It’s weird that other matches are just starting as well as this match
