We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. After the end of series 4 of Spooks, we have taken a short break and are back with our first love - Our Girl. The consensus of the group was to view series 2. We are now viewing series 1 to remind ourselves just how much we enjoyed it. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

I'm beginning to think that Soldier, Soldier was a grounding for almost every familiar face on TV...a bit like every Scottish actor has been in Taggart

I remember Steve - on of the brighter points of the later series.

Haha Rhu. Steve Evans I think was his name. Didn't he get caught up in a racism story at one stage? A soldier who had been one of his pals in a different regiment, or something of that nature.

Very probably. I keep getting him mixed up with red-haired Julie in my head, but I'm sure he wasn't.
