We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. After the end of series 4 of Spooks, we have taken a short break and are back with our first love - Our Girl. The consensus of the group was to view series 2. We are now viewing series 1 to remind ourselves just how much we enjoyed it. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

So, a fast paced double episode. Well, we are missing next week due to all our absences next week, so will see you all back here on the 28th. Have a good time everyone and enjoy the weather.

It would be the fantasy decompression, the one where CJ makes it to the beach to drink beer and play volleyball too. Won't be quite like that, but I'm hoping the sun stays shining and there is a little bit of time sat on the beach - not that I am a great sun worshipper!

Well, it was Jersey, so not exactly exotic, but that slightly odd half English, half French feel. The weather was beautiful, and so were the beaches, so it had that holiday island feel about it. Good for a short break.

The last time I went to Jersey was a week before lockdown in 2020. We came home and lockdown started about 3 days later. I do like the Channel Islands.
