When I got off the train on Thursday morning, the station was playing Ukrainian music, we have ‘united by music’ flags and posters absolutely everywhere, the whole city has gone blue and yellow and there’s been stories on boards all over the place about Ukraine. It’s been so very much about Ukraine, it’s been pretty amazing tbh and it’s felt very special.

I felt that in Liverpool and it came across well in the semi finals, but I’m not sure they’ve conveyed it as well on screen for the final. Which is a shame, because lots of people will only see that bit.
