Dd and friend is watching in a nightclub in Liverpool - not sure the favourites in the clubs will win really though. Dd says some of the acts like Croatia were getting the most cheers from the rather drunk student/young people crowd it seems!  UK was popular she says though not as much as some others. Dd went to one of the semi finals and said the atmosphere was fab - we couldn't get tickets for tonight at all!

Said the whole club was singing very loudly, and dancing , along to the Liverpool song section.

They're there til the end of the votes than having a second club night for eurovision pop after, complete with ABBA hour.

Graham cannot wait to get back stage and start being bitchy again!

I feel like the UK have completely taken over this, with a couple of crumbs thrown to Ukraine like the postcards, and one of four presenters being Ukranian.

The interval should have been Ukranian not Liverpudlian.

Agreed. They did get the interval acts for the semifinals - and if you've not seen the one from the 1st semifinal, to Duran Duran's Ordinary World, track it down. Beautiful and devastating.

Checking in late. Half arsed viewing this year. Caught the latter part. Thought it was supposed to be more Ukrainian? It's like we won it.

I'm not watching the scoring as I thought it wasn't thaat great tonight, even when they did the quick recap of all the acts. I liked the sound of Poland's entry, so think we will score them highly, but think its Sweden, Israel and Poland up there with Croatia, who were like some weird mushroom trip. Loved them. Croatia to win for me, purely because I didn't think the other songs were that great this year and it will be one to remember for years to come. The quality was better last year.

Maybe the first half i missed was good, but the recap didn't do it justice. Is that the case?
