What a load of pants! Did anyone else watch it? I didn't have much faith before seeing it tbh but never imagined it would be as bad as it was. Their singing was awful and they dubbed the kids voices for their own. The dancing was even worse, a bit like your mum and dad dancing!

I'm sure some of you enjoyed it but for what reason i can't think.

I just can't bear that they sing over the kids, it makes me cringe.

I'm resurrecting this as I only saw this GIGANTIC CROCK of SHITE today. Both the presenters look terrifying - she looks like a resurrected corpse after an over-enthusiastic mortician's been at it with the make-up box (and yes, I do know she's ill, but there is such a thing as a perfect face for radio) and he just looks as if he's been tranquilised. And the music was ghastly. Fortunately my DS was none too impressed. We'll be sticking to Radio 3 for his musical education.

Bluestocking "We'll be sticking to Radio 3 for his musical education" - brilliant. Why didn't I think of that. DS atm constantly sings the tune to Finley the farking Fire Engine. How nice if it was Elgar instead.

Seriously, Snowleopard, my DS loves Radio 3 - except when there's "horrible singing" which is any vocal music except the very plainest of plainsong.

Actually I think I feel the same which is why I don't listen to it regularly - but I love stuff like stravinsky and copland (radio 3 stalwarts IIRC) and you've made me realise DS would too. Will put it on next time we're cooking and see what he thinks.
