I take thyroid meds and not taking them doesn't make you rude - just cold and tired. I also think she can't read which is why they shoehorned in the stuff about not reading the instructions or letter.

I feel sorry for Scarlett but this is their own fault - they can issue a short term prescription. What would they do if it was something without which she would die?

I think Scarlett is going to end up getting attacked or accused. And in reality they would never deregister her- I've heard of physical attacks and people stay on lists. But we'll done Al!

I’ve been in a similar situation with a repeat prescription recently.
I don’t have a spleen so I’m supposed to take antibiotics daily and did do for around 18 years but due to worries about antibiotic resistance I now only keep some at home for emergency use so hadn’t needed to order any for over a year.

I’ve recently had a dental abscess so started taking them and called the surgery to order another prescription because I was going to use them all and have none to keep to hand, I was told I’d need a prescription review and couldn’t get an appointment for three weeks (since losing my spleen in 2002 I’ve only ever had one review!). That was okayish seeing as my dentist had prescribed pretty strong antibiotics too.

Anyway, I finished that course and had the tooth removed on Friday and explained to my dentist that due to the risk of infection I’m supposed to have antibiotics after an extraction but she said it was a GP matter. I rang the surgery and explained and was told that it was a dental matter and not their responsibility so I’d have to wait until I’d had the review. I finally persuaded the receptionist to speak to a GP and an emergency prescription was issued and I had a text to say it had been sent to the pharmacy within minutes.

Been very rubbish in recent months due to the house move and fixing the "new" ( old) house. It's calmed fine a bit now!

I agree with everyone saying please hurry up the Zaniel storyline. We know what's going to (eventually) happen, just get it over with.

I was almost watching through my fingers during the Ghost scene, it was so bad.

And right at the end I couldn't work out whether Al and Scarlett are heading towards some kind of affair. I was a bit worried that Al had that kind of look about him as he hugged Scarlett...

Just checking in, I haven't managed to watch yet but wanted to drop back in and say I hope you all had a good summer. Will catch up soon.

I have just watched and expected Unchained Melody to come on any minute! I’m sure the ghost reference was on purpose.
