Not many weeks now until the break for Wimbledon and the Summer holidays. Cliffhanger time!

Rob has the patience of a saint, but i think Scarlett might just push him over the edge.

I think he is brave (or foolish) to volunteer for that

Raahh · 15/06/2023 13:55

He probably thought it would be a good distraction. But she is the type who probably thinks she can do it all already.

Raahh · 15/06/2023 13:58

At least she recognises that Rob is being nice.

Raahh · 15/06/2023 13:59

I wouldnt want Brian teaching anyone to drive. he would be crap.

Raahh · 15/06/2023 14:00

Ollie is a gormless drip. Scarlett can do better.

I don't want Scarlett to leave. She's one of the only reasonable new characters.

Raahh · 15/06/2023 14:02

Ooh- it's all gone Strictly Ballroom.

Raahh · 15/06/2023 14:03

First Al, now Jimmi- who next to take Emma out for a pep talk.

doctorsnoddy · 15/06/2023 14:03

I'm glad they saved the Beech Walk they spend a jot of time strolling there

Raahh · 15/06/2023 14:05

doctors Grin I know. Makes a change from the Icon.

Binglebong · 15/06/2023 14:13

Just how long are their lunch breaks?!

Raahh · 15/06/2023 14:15

Bingle hours. And hours. Grin

Was glad to see Suni is keeping up the tradition of dressing to match the walls.

And like no doctors surgery anywhere the lunch hours are spent in the pub drinking alcohol!

Dahliasrule · 15/06/2023 14:33

doctorsnoddy, I was about to say the me thing!

Damn. Another illusion shattered.

😂

It just gets dafter doesn't it.

LilyAndTheKing · 16/06/2023 11:37

Raahh I'm glad you don't close your eyes whilst driving over the scary bridge 😂
We live fairly near the Dartford crossing and I've never driven over the bridge, I'm okay in the tunnels.
I'm completely fine driving over the Severn M4 bridge and the Forth Road bridge, but there's a scary slip road high up on the M4 that makes my legs go to jelly.
Blimey I could talk about this all day 😂

Raahh · 16/06/2023 11:43

Lily Grin I used to dream about the bridge all the time.(I'm sure it 'meant' something) In reality- it's not even that high but I still hate going over it! Grin

EversoDisorganised · 16/06/2023 13:45

I struggle a bit with heights too, I accidentally found myself having to drive over the Dartford river crossing a couple of years ago and was terrified, gripping the wheel tight and staring at the number plate of the car in front. I’m not great on the second Severn crossing either but it is way better than Dartford. Also the thing with piers and the gaps showing the water, can’t cope with that either, I don’t like footbridges and piers much at all. I can’t go near the railings on bridges or ferry decks, have to stay a good couple of metres back.

Raahh · 16/06/2023 13:50

It's nice to know I'm not alone Grin

Binglebong · 16/06/2023 14:10

I'm OK with heights but i hate ladders. Not keen on open stairs either.

Raahh · 16/06/2023 14:16

oh no- open stairs are awful. When I was about 6 we used to go to a leisure centre with open, see through stairs. I was convinced I was going to fall right through them. I would insist on using the lift. Grin

I mean I know I can't fall through the timy gaps in a pier- but it still scares me Grin

MadisonAvenue · 16/06/2023 18:28

All of these things mentioned scare me!

And if I’m in London and using the tube I can’t go up the really long escalators unless there’s someone behind me, I’m certain I’m going to topple backwards.

I don’t like the stairs in Lush in Birmingham either, they’re not open but they’re quite wide and I always feel that I need to hold onto the handrail so panic a bit inside if someone is coming in the opposite direction and is on the handrail side.

I’d freak out if I had to climb these stairs too.

Best idea I've heard today. What a shame we can't go to the Icon!

Raahh · 19/06/2023 13:47

This is the last week, isn't it ? (Although Wimbledon doesn't actually start until the 3rd of July).

Emma appears to be wearing the shiny silver blouse that Becky left behind.

Raahh · 19/06/2023 13:48

Kirsty seems to be making a few enemies of the staff- Jimmi and Al don't like how she treats Rosie, and now she's annoyed Emma.
