Not many weeks now until the break for Wimbledon and the Summer holidays. Cliffhanger time!

I was out earlier, so I'm going to catch up now.

Raahh · 06/06/2023 17:59

I suppose jumping from receptionist to practice manager has happened before- Mrs T did it.

Raahh · 06/06/2023 18:02

Fair point from Scarlett that she had to go her training outside of work hours- and Bear gets to do it on Mill time (not that he seems to do much).

Raahh · 06/06/2023 18:05

Kirsty really has stirred things up - it isn't a proper job, just covering a bit.

Raahh · 06/06/2023 18:05

(and it's not like Bear does much!!).

Raahh · 06/06/2023 18:11

Zara!!

No!

martinisforeveryone · 06/06/2023 18:19

Waving to everyone. I had some catching up to do and I haven't recovered from yesterday's episode yet. That felt like a very Valerie storyline. Now we have flirtatious Zara and inattentive Daniel.

The stand-in business manager story is just silly. None of the three except Kirsty would be competent.

Raahh · 06/06/2023 18:25

Ruhma's back!

Oh dear- that photo will, as they say, go viral.

RoyCroppersBag · 07/06/2023 07:37

The new midwife spends all her time wandering around talking to one patient, giving sage advice and occasional angst ridden glances every so often. Is this really what it would be like working in a busy maternity unit?

Raahh · 07/06/2023 08:01

Grin my niece is a midwife- and I'm pretty sure she doesn't spend so much time counselling the patients, and wandering the corridors hunting down relatives.

Now Ruhma is back, does that mean Malika is leaving? She is a bit intense, but on a sliding scale, one of the better 'newbies' they have introduced in the last year or so Grin (That's not hard- most of them have been dreadful- I think Luca, Suni and Scarlett are the only ones I can cope with long term Grin).

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:47

This business about the business manager thing is just daft. I mean, Bear must have had holidays since he started? Time off when his mum was in hospital? Who covered then- presumably , unofficially, because it was never mentioned?

Oh dear. I take it Nancy is no longer with us.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:48

Oh dear. Poor Nancy. wonder how long she had been there?

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:50

Months? oh.

And now Zara is skiving from the university. Daniel will smell a rat. Or won't - he's not very observant.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:51

Scarlett is very sulky- either she wants the job or not- but doing stupid pranks with Ollie should not be more important.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:52

Role play with Al. Brilliant.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:53

But the practice manager is not a doctor, so shouldn't be giving medical advice, Rosie.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 13:55

Scarlett is not practice manager material - even just for cover. And I like her. But she's too easily distracted.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:01

Putting a bucket over someone's head was their prank? Idiots.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:04

Sounds like Rosie is giving the better answers.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:06

Is this the little girl?

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:08

Scarlett can't really complain- doesn't show she's very professional anyway, that she still went of to do daft things with Ollie.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:10

I can kind of understand why Cameron felt the way he did.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:11

I knew he would pick Rosie- Kirsty's answers were all very self centred and not very patient focused.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:12

I am starting to like the Al/Rosie double act.

Raahh · 07/06/2023 14:13

Nina is interfering again tomorrow then.
