Thank you for that. I'm on episode 3 Series 1 and checked how many episodes there were and was amazed there were so many and another season too! You can see the quality of the writing and it's intrigued me enough to continue. You've encouraged me to stick with it even more!

I think there’s some blurring/filter technology used - in some scenes their skin looks very obviously smooth and luminous in a filtered way. I didn’t notice it til the wedding scenes in the latest season though so I think it’s been fairly well executed!

I think they add a slight glow/sheen to certain scenes from the past too - sort of that aura glow you get around lighter colours.

It's sooo clever what they can do, just amazing. The youthful looks of actors in their 40s playing their 20s parts just blows my mind.

I've just finished it and was looking for a thread on it. I cried my eyes out, it was one of the best things I've watched! Their friendship was beautiful and I wish I had a friend like that in my life.
Also loved all the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s nostalgia 😂

I too was watching and wishing I had a bff like they do. I have good friends, but primarily because of location, none are in my life to this extent. If I won the lottery, I've already told my three closest friends I'm buying a cul de sac for us all to live in.

Though I wonder how realistic it really is to live in each others' lives to the extent they do. Same for the ladies in Friends, SATC etc. I also like a bit more space and privacy than they seem to have.

Cried for almost 2 hours solidly last night watching the last couple of episodes.

Just ordered the sequel book, ‘Fly Away.’ Excited for it to arrive tomorrow (thank you Prime delivery!). I’m missing the characters already and have bad PMS, so I’ve been close to tears thinking about the last episodes all day 😅

Just finished it. Spent most of the last two episodes in tears! What a lovely friendship.

Has anyone read the book and if so is it worth reading first or should I just buy the sequel to read?

Ive just finished it. Loved it once i was a few episodes in but i have to clearly disagree with people here about their ‘beautiful’ friendship. I thought kate was selfish from childhood right to the end. Really subtle cutting tully off, moving focus back on to her or jonny. She wasnt nice at all to Lisa Karen.

Just started watching this - loved the first two episodes. But OMG what has Katherine Heigl done to her face with all that botox - she looks awful!
