My DD has taken to doing Gregggggg and Jon crits over meals.

DD: "This houmous is maaaaaahvellous."

Me: "Well done, Waitrose."

DD: "But these veggies are a bit on the raw side."

Me: "Oh, did you want your celery and carrot sticks cooked?"

DD: "These fletbreads eren't really levelled up."

Me: "Well, no, they're flat."

I've just caught up with MC. I think they could have lost a couple more tonight, especially Vanessa

Really annoyed with Vanessa. Well yes people eat with their hands in India but there is still a difference between east to eat finger food. There is great Indian food that meets the brief. The others have pushed to fill the brief may well have done better if they just made a normal plate of food. Grrrr

Had to share this with my fellow Endang fans - it’s Malay rather than Indonesian, but so tasty, and only £3.20! Garlic fried rice with soy chicken and pickled veg. Yum!

Looks lovely apart from the egg - I don't really eat eggs!

I want Endang to make an amazing Gado-Gado. It's a food you can get in almost every "indochine" restaurant in Paris, but I can never find it in UK! I went through a phase of making it for meals in various iterations (whichever vegetables were available, cooked or raw, plus tofu, eggs, potatoes, whatever and peanut sauce!) but my DC got sick of it and protested 😂

How do you cook/fry the tofu, @Jourdain11? I have a tub to use, and I'm bored with the usual miso soup / stew thing.

I can't eat garlic or onions which is a pain in the bum.

I often grill it with a marinade of different kinds - soy, honey and chilli; sriracha; diced spring onions with rice vinegar and a bit of sweet chilli sauce; chimichurri (very inauthentic). It's really quick and easy and it tastes great!

Thank you - I've got some sriracha in the fridge somewhere!
