More up to date, then mention Hey Jude???

Maybe it's my age, but Never Forget is much more of an anthem to me than Hey Jude.

@LizzieSiddal I didn't realise he was still there! My dad worked right outside his house when I was a teenager (I'm a lifelong fan) and he didn't tell me until afterwards!
One of my friends regularly bumped into Mark in Petersfield Waitrose. I can't believe they're both so local!!

@MrsFinkelstein what I mean is for example Adam lambert sung queen, Sam Ryder does a lot of classic covers but also are up to date modern acts.

I'm mid 20s but things like hey Jude, queen etc are much more British anthems than what we had tonight.

I thought it was really good. The production was really slick considering the numbers on stage at any time. Involving the military bands was great. Drones instead of fireworks were brilliant, especially the way they were integrated with the images on the screen above the stage. Hugh and Miss Piggy and Kermit in the royal box were well-judged and funny. I love TT. Mark's always sung like that tbh. Howard did them proud with Never Forget. Wouldn't have been appropriate to sing Rule the World! Me and my DSis correctly predicted the TT songs hours ago. Wish we'd got tickets but I very much doubt we'd have been able to get home until tomorrow.

Just got to the train station after the concert, it was bloody fab, although the King kept us waiting 20mins
