New ITV drama about a woman doctor not only battling with the demands of saving lifes in A&E, but also having to manage junior doctors, hospital bureaucracy - and her own addiction.

I bloody loved this, all the way through. I get that some was not factually representative of a&e practice but it was engaging and well told for a fictional drama.

I had some real anxiety during the first few episodes, that feeling of impending doom, seeing things spiral out of control was really well done, sometimes i thought 'it will be ok'.
before i understood the style i thought maybe some of the worst bits were imagined or dreamed by her, like a bit of magical realism, then realised it was all actually happening to her!

disappointed with the ambiguous ending but I hate them anyway.
O/ding little one really stayed with me.

Reminded me of later happy valley episodes for obvious reasons.

Binged it, enjoyed it. Loved the main actress.

Same as PP that I knew James Purefoy would have a pivotal role eventually as he’s too big a name / stereotyped baddy to be just in the background like in early episodes.

Anyhow, good telly 👍🏼

working in A&E looks v stressful.

I too thought that nice, supportive Oscar might turn out to be part of the drugs ring. He seemed to be keeping a very close eye on Lucinda.
