How many times can the other Big Brother Dark housemates upset Chris Eubank with their swearing before someone cracks?

How long before the screaming girls send everyone mad and there is a punch up?

How long before all the viewer want to scream fuck off at Danny Dyer's dreadful presenting?

What after someone had won it for him or if he was part of a group/pair? Thus alienating/isolating himself? And making him look ungrateful when the others are all looking forward to it as it's been framed as a treat

Yeah ok.

More deflecting from the actual point I made 🤦🏼‍♀️
Your posts weren't about caring if he was distressed in the room 🤷🏼‍♀️

Whatever you say. Clearly I'm not allowed to think differently.

There's no need for this. It was a nice thread. I think you're overreacting @Twonewcats

Gothambutnotahamster · 21/04/2023 19:28

I agree @JaneJeffer - it was a nice thread and would be good to keep it that way! I found the show insightful by the end (although I did feel very mean watching it at the start!)

Have there been any interviews with any of them today? I'd love to hear them talk about their experience (& would really love someone to challenge Chris E on his behaviour but that will never happen!)

SwapTheYforaD · 21/04/2023 19:39

I didn't see every episode but from where in standing it seems that Chris E was not mentally fit in the first place to be part of the experience. Losing his son (the year before filming?) is tragic and while there is never really an excuse for nastiness, when people are challenged psychologically some horrible things can come out. In that room negative thoughts would enter your brain without the advantage of being able to go for a walk, go to the shops, call a friend, watch telly...
This is why Chris M would have also found the experience really challenging.

Do yeah I think I have some sympathy for Chris E. He just shouldn't have done it at all.

Ok. Maybe you'd think differently if it affected you, though

Thegoodbadandugly · 21/04/2023 21:42

If they can't see why did Nicola move her leg so the ball wouldn't hit her? I want the blind guy to win.

SwapTheYforaD · 21/04/2023 22:02

Watching on catch up @Thegoodbadandugly ?

DaisyDaisyDaisyDaisyDaisyDaisy · 21/04/2023 22:06

This show really got to me. Especially any bits relating to Gazza and his interactions with Max and Chris M particularly. I have the biggest soft spot for him and just hope he stays on track.

Sorry, it was a nice thread. But calling someone out on unsavoury comments is a good thing, surely.

Thegoodbadandugly · 22/04/2023 10:01

We'll deserved winner.

@Twonewcats I agree with you. I think the comments were unsavoury and uncalled for

Thank you - and I feel that, if it had been someone eg in a wheelchair, and it was described as amusing that they had the most time in an activity room, posters would have been rightly savaged for the comments.

Helendegenerate · 22/04/2023 19:43

I didn't see the last half hour of the final last night and hoped not to catch anything on my phone etc giving the game away of who won. I saw it this afternoon though and I doubt I would have been surprised whoever won. Paul Gascoigne's way of speaking always has me struggling to understand him. When Donna was on that ledge I really thought she would refuse the jump so when she did I imagined she might win as she was the most terrified of them all but did it!

As for Eubank he knew what he signed up for and at times I thought it wasn't the darkness or challenges which defeated him, it was the other contestants who struggled to say a sentence without FFUUCCKKINGG swearing. It got boring to hear it and Danny Dyer is no better. Remember on early Big Brothers when they weren't allowed to swear😯😯

Not sure if there are any more planned but as a one off it was a great idea. Don't know if I would be as interested in further series.

Oh one last thing, no two. Why weren't the group shown the mucky tip that room was in when the lights went up. I was hoping for that. Also, how much were they paid to do the show!!?

Twonewcats · 22/04/2023 23:23

When the lights came on, it was great to see Scarlett immediately describing to Chris M what it looked like 🥰

I watched this back - didn't see Nicola moving her leg. Was it Chloe?

Oh FFS.

I thought it bloody awkward and uncomfortable.

It didn't sit right.

Can we just all agree , though, that Chris M has a name ? We know his name. Calling him 'the blind guy' is a labelling approach which makes me personally uneasy and does, in some pots sound , to be honest ,aggressive or finger pointing. Discussing how his blindness made his experience different is part of what the programme wants us to address but he does have an identity beyond this. He is called Chris.

DaisyDaisyDaisyDaisyDaisyDaisy · 23/04/2023 09:47

@RedToothBrush what didn't sit right about him relaxing on the floor with puppies on his lap enjoying the sensation of their fur on his hands? There were snacks in there.. bubbles.. all kinds of things for him to enjoy and give him a break from the experience in the bunker. He didn't seem awkward or uncomfortable in the least. I think that's you.
And as another poster has said.. he has a name. Chris.

I thought they were hilarious, especially Donna Grin
