Why Didn't They Ask Evans - ITV1 9:00-10:15pm Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

They say this is new, but I think already shown on another channel.

I must have seen at least 3 or 4 versions of this.

But will probably watch (record to skip through ads and there must be a lot as it is 1.25 hours).

I just hope it isn't one of those lets update it and make it relevant.

Cant find the listing on ITVx so not sure if all episodes will be available to binge watch.

Carstairs had been an old friend of Savage and thought that the terms of the Will just did not fit with the man he had known.

He started to investigate, and had obviously noticed that for whatever reason the then maid had not been asked to be a witness.

So he was in fact visiting her, now married and with a different name, to find out what had happened.

What isn't clear is how anyone knew he was doing this and was concerned enought to follow him to Wales and push him off a cliff to silence him.

I dont remember that bit being explained.

It didn't help that any time they were explaining anything they seemed to feel the need to drop to a whisper... I think Roger B-ff explained a lot at the end but it was difficult to hear him.

I've read it and don't remember it being as confusing as that was, although I couldn't really remember it.

The jump cut after Knocker killed the men at the Grange was also really confusing, what happened to all the other people? Or did they think they were sedating a patient?

I'm also surprised that both the servants had got married afterwards, the death wasn't that long ago (and neither looked that young!).

It was lovely to look at though, all the scenery and clothes, and the music too.

In episode 2 lady Francis is wearing a gorgeous burgundy jumpsuit. I would love one like it but where from?

I really enjoyed the first two episodes but was just confused in the last one and got annoyed with it. Kept rewinding to see if I'd missed something.
