Got Disney+ for a month, what's worth watching?

Any suggestions welcome, before it expires, please.

DS is watching Prison Break now that it's not available on Netflix.

I am overwhelmed by the choice, and like most streaming services, I would spend more time trying to pick something to watch than actually watching it!

Recent series I've watched are; You, The Watcher, but while they were engaging to begin with, they got a bit silly at the end.

I like Stranger Things and do tend to watch the odd 80s classic from time to time.

I've seen most of the American Horror Story series up to Apocalypse, which is season 9, but heard the latter series are not as good. Watched an episode of American Horror Stories with Alicia Silverstone in it, called Lake. It was okay but I was put off by the poor acting.

Modern family

Verite1 · 01/04/2023 19:03

Wandavision. Moon knight. Both of those don’t give up after first couple of episodes - they get better and better. Also Andor. The Americans. The bear.

MarshaBradyo · 01/04/2023 19:04

Dopesick and The Drop Out

Both brilliant, we only got Disney + for a while to watch them

PrincessCalley · 01/04/2023 19:04

Sons of Anarchy. I was very much in love with Jax Teller by the end of it. Charlie Hunnam is excellent in it.

The walking dead is also fantastic watch.

If you haven't watched it already on Prime 'This is Us' is a beautiful series - love it!

Recently really enjoyed 'The Bear's on Disney+.

Soscrewed · 01/04/2023 21:49

I agree with the first suggestion from @AndStand - the orville. Best show I've seen in ages. Its science fiction, but i know a few people who dont love sci fi usually who have gotten into it. Starts more of a comedy, but hits its Stride as a drama with comedy and isn't dark or scary. TV as it used to be- a cheerful escape for an episode and not these huge story arks where you get lost if you miss an episode.

Absolute nonsense 💯

Only murders in the building for sure.

We’re into marvel/ Star Wars and enjoyed The Mandalorian, Andor and Boba Fett. Obi Wan less so.

Hawkeye was fun, and Wandavision was weird but gets better after the first couple of episodes. The other marvel series were ok (didn’t like she hulk though).

I liked Hamilton.

If you like Disney movies Encanto and Luca are good.
