Bracing myself for the dinner party tonight!

Dan is deluded.

He is a balding bad who looks years old than he is. He really needs help with his gym works as his body shows no evidence of it. He's got a twitchy eye when he's angry.

He's shallow and self absorbed. He's an excellent deflector and gaslighter- skills he has no doubt had to build up over years of women calling him out on his shit.

Even if Evelyn the Empress plays no more aces, she has nailed it as a Mafs legend. 9.5 predicted that Dan would break up her Sandy chat and Evelyn went one beyond and took him out for a chat herself. I could watch that interaction several times over.
And Leyton's shock face needs to be a Gif! It's a bit camp meets offended cat's bum.

Dan actually makes me feel sick. When he came back in his leather jacket after being out at the gym all day and couldn't understand why she was upset, it turns my stomach.

Harrison I could deal with because Brontë wasn't invested, and he's such an obvious twat, but Dan is absolutely repulsive, both in looks and in character.

I wasn't keen from the start because he's not particularly attractive and not my type, too quiet, and brooding, but I did think he was probably boringly nice and thought Harrison set him up with the bar/phone numbers. But holy shit he had most of us fooled, and I can't blame the ixperts for falling for it too. I'm just so sad that Sandy got put with him.

They needed to do a wife swap after a week. Sandy with Josh and Dan with sex pest. Haha imagine Dan and sex pest arguing and staring each other out 😂😂😂 Dan talking about being in beast mode and sex pest saying I'm too much of a woman for you. 😂😂

Evelyn is amazing, when Dan said we need to end the conversation and she just went "mmmm" with a slight smile and then he got up and she just head tilted and watched him scuttle away.

Both Mel and Evelyn are experts at calling men out calmly and quietly, that it's the men who get flustered and start raising their voices.

I need to watch the dinner party again actually, Jesse and Clare were being very cute although I still don't think it'll work, it's good to see them happy.

I bet Dan's previous girlfriends have been much younger than him- he'll need the power imbalance of someone less experienced and possibly less well-off in order to do his thing. Amazing that at 27 Evelyn can calmly call him out- she's whip smart.
I agree that Rupert's had a crappy edit- there's evidence of a dry sense of humour and as pp said- going to the wedding without family support shows some mettle. I really like him

If only Sandy had been paired with another husband, it may have have worked out well. She’s been robbed of what could have been a positive experience.

I like how Evelyn pulled Dan for a chat and listened to him. After hearing his bullshit, she called him out on it. He had no where to go and terminated the chat. Dan realised he couldn’t manipulate or pull the wool over Evelyn’s eyes.

Dan then gave Sandy more bullshit to convince her to stay. So he has the satisfaction of deserting her again. It’s a power thing. He’s a master of manipulation.
He wants out the marriage but wants to be the one to end it, it’s all about his ego.

He wouldn’t want to lose face in front of his racist friends.

Dan should win manipulator of the series. I honestly think the experts should tell Sandy to leave this, her staying won’t do her any good. Save her from more lies and more of Dans wankerish behaviour.

yeah , Dahs friends were all incredulous sniggers at the Indian wedding. Quite sneery at the decorations and Sandy. Although amazingly that changed when she did her vows and whew, she spoke with an Oz accent and clearly had a sense of humour. One of them after all. 🙄

Watching now on catchup and I bloody LOVE Evelyn! She is the epitome of having someone's back. And the way she gave the men the chance to own up to what they said was both fair and masterful. It's not just dinner that was serve ed tonight, justice was too! 😂

I kind of hope the experts intervene and suggest she leaves.

@MelsMoneyTree - I can also relate to Sandy indecision. Dan has perfected the good guy image and at the start he appeared to like Sandy so she is trying to get back to that stage. However he is completely insincere, only in the experiment for some benefit to him. He is now devaluing Sandy but it's wrapped up in manipulative language so she it's a head fuck. I get it as been there.

How does Evelyn knows so much??? Her self confidence is outstanding- not arrogant just the right level. I found her discussion with Dan educational!

I also love how this has gone against the stereotype of beautiful women being bitchy and competitive against each other. Evelyn and 9.5 are both very beautiful women, but have fearlessly stood up for other women who are being mistreated and have had the confidence to go head to head with the gaslighting dicks. Is it because they have never had to please men that they are like that? SO enjoyable ( and educational ) to watch!

Yes both extremely astute young women. I can hardly bear to even look at Harrison, he makes my skin crawl.

I'm so bothered by Sandy being put at the bottom of so many of the photo line ups. I know she is a little older, but she is a beautiful woman. They are all pretty but she to me is striking, much more so than Bronte, for example.

Sandy is naturally beautiful she needs no make up. The others all had work done, some to the extreme, have their hair coloured etc and they couldn't pull off the naturally beautiful look. I don't find Brontë pretty at all for example.

I bet the producers are absolutely fuming there hasn't been any fighting between the women. They had the factions last week when the Claire and Adam kiss came out but they all seem to have moved on and I am here for strong independent women standing up for each other. Entertaining as the Dom-Olivia spat or Cyrell-Martha & Jessika were it's really refreshing to see them all come together against some shitty men. I'd love to know what Evelyn would have had to say to sex pest Mel.

Sandy is 100% the most beautiful woman this year.

I don't think Sandy is the prettiest but she seems the most intelligent.
