I find intelligence adds to beauty and the opposite, so I would put her very high up. I think although it’s difficult to admit most people are racist when it comes to attraction. Or maybe it’s fairer to say people favour those who look similar to themselves.

Evelyn is an old hand at reality programmes though…. It’s not all new to her.

I don’t think Miss 9.5 is that pretty. I can’t get past her lips and make up to work out how pretty she is. Bronte and Claire sometimes look v pretty, then don’t the next.

Sandy is lovely, she has the most gorgeous eyes.

I hate the ranking task. If this “experiment” were real
it could completely fuck up someine. Intimacy tasks trying to encourage contestants to sleep together before they’re ready, and ranking games to wreck self confidence! You’d need therapy for years after it all!

Evelyn & Mel 9.5 are absolute legends. I’m glad Sandy has them to have her back. Because these two girls won’t let anything lie! They are so emotionally mature and astute!

I suspect they are strong, confident women who’ve dealt with dipshits line Harrison & Dan before and can easily spot the signs.

Sandy is fabulous, but inexperienced and is clearly trying to prove to her parents that she can make decisions about her own life. And she absolutely can, she’s a smart lady, but Dan is making her question her own sense of reality. That’s what gaslighters do. She knows it’s not right but is still questioning herself. She hasn’t dealt with this before so she’s still navigating it. Her gut tells her one thing, but she doesn’t have the confidence or experience yet to trust it fully.

Yes the twitchy eye is such a give away for him.... you can tell when he is cornered and angry.

Please tell me as I am new to this programme - is there a cash prize at the end if you are still with your partner?

Otherwise I just don’t get why Dan doesn’t just say that Sandy is not the person for him 🤷‍♀️ I was wondering the same for Brontë as she had a complete turnaround and it seems pretty obvious they have made some kind of pact.

I think Evelyn and 9.5 can confront the men because Harrison and Dan only the deal in the currency of sexual attractiveness - both of the women have it in spades and they know it. They couldn’t give a shit if Harrison and Dan hate them because they don’t need validation from crap men. Neither bloke knows how to take them down because they have no ammo.

The gaslighting and nasty digs don’t work on women who clearly are used to much more attractive men. Same with Claire and Alyssa . It only works on Bronte and Sandy because they have to be trusting and a bit vulnerable in order to make their marriages work with those cretins. Had they been pared with nicer guys I’m pretty sure they’d be picking them apart too.

It's interesting that Layton is coming out well in all this. He doesn't appear to have been involved in any of the scandals or feel the need to go out for 'drinks with the boys'. Ditto Cam, actually, who might seem the out with the lads type but clearly isn't and steers clear of gossip.

And for all his fitness facade, Dan's 'body is my temple' regime doesn't seem to extend to not getting pissed.

Evelyn is very obviously a plant. Working for the producers and the show.

I've just realised we've not had any mix and match pairings this time eg where two partners from other couples go to the experts asking to stay; the experts say they were compatible all along and let them stay as a new couple.

Just watching an episode from last week on E4. Wtf is Harrison playing at with his fake emotion when he was talking about Bronte and endometriosis. V odd.

I liked how Sandy came to Claire’s rescue and said what else can she now- shes holding herself accountable and owning it.

There are plenty of reasons why being an only child could result in her being the way she.

A - parents over compensated for a lack of sibling

B - parents spoiled because they could as they only had one child to provide for.

C - she didn't grow up having to consider anyone else

These are only a few possibilities. Of course she could have one or many siblings.

And of course there are just things that are in us to make us the way we are.

Tayla doesn't strike me as a spoilt child. More like she was failed as a child which is why she is so controlling, inflexible and obnoxious.

Dan makes me so cross saying that Sandy is sitting on the couch all day! I want to know if either of them has actually suggested doing things together during the day, he could have a morning run then meet her for lunch surely. He clearly doesn’t want to spend any time with her.

Finally caught up watching so could read the whole thread, but was coming on to say the same thing. Methinks he doth protest too much with all the gym stuff and ex-girlfriends. Would not be at all surprised if someone found his FB friends list and found a Dorothy 😂

Bit controversial, but do wonder if 9.5 actually fancies Harrison. The way she keeps calling him out is almost like a "please notice me" and think she definitely thinks he is more of a challenge for her.

I like Layton, seems like a nice guy, but unfortunately he reminds me of one of our old friends that was tighter than a gnat's arse and it's putting me off! 😂
