Micah is definitely not what i would describe as 'decent'!!!
She's very immature & superficial & she only cared about winning.

She wanted to be the most popular in the pods & to be chosen. I don't think she & paul had a genuine connection. She was placating & he sensed it.

She was a total bitch in the pods & her real friends demonstrate that she's like that in real life too.

Micah is the typical school yard queen bee type

Paul can definitely do better. I think he clumsily articulated her total self absorption when he said he couldn't see her being nurturing/ maternal.

I think Kwame is a total player & Chelsea is desperate & comes off a bit sad in her insistence that she's so zany & wild.

I predict they won't be together.

I think Bliss & Zach seem well matched & they could make a go of it

I didn't like Brett in the wedding episode but they seem to be into each other in a genuine way so I hope they make each other happy

In fairness to Brett those pants were an AWFUL fit.He looked like a clown! I can’t believe the tailor sen them like that. Lucia did a great job adjusting them in such a short time. I’m hoping he’s just into looking good rather than secretly a bit of a narcissist.

Ha! Your wedding day is a momentous occasion if you're into that. If I were to have a wedding, with people taking photos and especially if it was televised , you're damn right I'd be upset if my dress didn't fit me perfectly! I don't want to feel uncomfortable all day!

I think they purposefully sabotaged Brett's pants. Then when he complained they would have a sound bite about something being wrong that they could isolate and use to make the viewer think there was a major drama.
Micah isn't the nicest person, I also think she is quite immature and in the high school mindset ( not helped by her friends, who are awful). She wasn't ready for this. But Paul was unnecessarily cruel about her and her inability to be a decent mother in the future.

I loved Kwame's sister but wondered if her being there pushed him to say yes. I don't imagine this marriage lasting. I don't think he is as into her as she is him. Right now she's trying to be the "cool girl" but how long will she sustain that. When he comes to her with genuine concerns ( my life is totally changing and I am making all the compromises, the situation with his mother, the difference of what they want for the future,...) she doesn't seem to take that on board.

@CatMattress it really is. I found it really interesting when Marshall was saying how unusual it is to be a man who is emotional and articulates feelings a lot, and that he is judged for it.

It does seem like Chelsea is glazing over the important stuff. She wants many children, now. Kwame told her that he's nowhere near that.

Ah, I'm so happy for Brett and Tiffany. I felt as though I should have been wearing a hat - I was as emotionally invested in their wedding as any RL guest

Like everyone else, I think Chelsea and Kwame won't be together for the reunion. There doesn't seem to be a deep connection there. She's too keen and he isn't at all.
As for Paul and Micah, hmm. I think Micah did like Paul and would have said 'yes' if he had. Her friends seem the type who would believe in 'starter' marriages so she would have felt she could split up if it didn't work. I really disliked Paul's comment about not being able to see her as a mother and that she wasn't nurturing. That was a low blow. She obviously cared deeply about her DM so wasn't incapable of love and lots of women who are bitchy queen bees in their twenties go on to have DCs.

This comment on Micah's Instagram post made lots of sense to me.

She did the ultimate cop out by asking Paul to answer first, it was obvious she isn't in love with him but she's fake as you can get.

Tiffany and Brett are precious, so happy for them. Love them.

I hope Zach and Bliss have a great life together, he hasn't had it easy has he by the sounds of it and although I think he's a bit "strange" he seems like a nice enough guy and I think they're genuinely in love.

Still wouldn't trust Kwame as far as I could throw him. I like Chelsea.

Micah's beige bra straps were awful with her wedding dress. She's often referred to herself as a girly girl really into her makeup and her clothes, what was she thinking with that bra on her wedding day???

I was v surprised by Kwames answer- hated Bliss's dress. Some stuff Paul said about Micah was nasty. Love Tiff and Brett.

I also liked it. It suited her and she looked beautiful and comfortable in it.

Just started bingeing this yesterday and now on episode 8. How deeply irritating is Micah and how many times can she get the word 'like' into each sentence? I counted 12 'likes' in a 30 second conversation between her and Kwami

Yes she can't speak properly. 'I was 'like', just pleased to 'like', find someone who I could 'like' see my future with'.......🤬

And now Paul has started imitating her and punctuating every sentence with loads of 'likes'!

I would love to know whether people in real life speak in the way that the Love Is Blind people do.
Is it because I am old? Is it because I am British? But there are certain things that feel SO WEIRD to me

Things like:

Instead of saying what they are going to say they say eg “I would be lying if I said I’m not nervous“ - ok you’re nervous. Just say that.

Asking themselves questions, to answer them immediately: “Am I wondering if I made the right choice? Yeah, yeah I am wondering that right now”.

Talking to someone, who is there, but addressing a third party, who isn’t, instead of talking about them in the third person. “You gotta just wish me well from where you’re at”, when you actually mean “I just want this other person to wish me well from where they’re at.”

Saying “I love that” instead of just a nod

Sing-song high voices from the women that make things they are saying sound like sarcastic nursery rhymes. But they aren’t being sarcastic.

I totally agree that Micah is in a toxic relationship with Shelby. The way she was so shocked at the party when they first all met, when Paul said he didn't care what Shelby thought - it made me think that M is kind of defined by her. Like in their friend group they have this lore that Shelby is a total badass and what she says goes, and everyone is in her shadow. It kind of glorifies meanness, like the meaner you are the stronger you are, and I think M needs to get away from that lot and get better friends. Also, sweetie, if you must drink that much, don't be filmed making pathetic attempts to string sentences together when you have drunk that much.

The sexy shoot that Kwame and Chelsea did blew my mind with its ultra cringe. It would have been bad enough had they just agreed to it, when the producers suggested it. But Chelsea said that she had always dreamed of a shoot like that. It’s part of her really intense desire for validation, to feel loved and publicly loved. I respected a lot about Chelsea but I felt really claustrophobic just watching her on TV, let alone trying to live with her. To me she is the worst combination: a really needy extravert who also wants everything her own way. Needy extroverts, in my book, need to chill on the detail of their lives and environments because they ask too much when they want constant company AND they want everything their way.

Chelsea's family all screaming all the time would have had me running for the hills.

What's with all the metal glasses in every venue and house?!
